View Full Version : Cannot retract foreskin?

I’m 14 years old.
After some research, it became apparent that not being able to retract my foreskin isn’t normal. I also realised that my foreskin is still attached to the head of my penis in one place! Google says that foreskin detaches at age 8. Now I’m worried! Should I start stretching my foreskin so I can pull it back eventually or wait until it detaches (if it will detach!)

Start stretching. It should detach after a while. Stop when it becomes too painful. Being wet in the shower or bath helps. have U only started getting boners recently? You can seek info from doc, who can prescribe steroid cream. Getting cut would be a last resort

Try stretching once or twice a day for about a minute. At some point, it should start to retract normally.

You could support the stretching by getting a cortisone-containing ointment.

I really think this is something you should take up with your doctor. There is a possibility that you could damage your glans if you try stretching. Just to be sure and safe please see your doctor.

Ok...I am cut and don't know anything about being uncut, but this sounds like the best advice you are going to get. After reading stuff on VT I have wondered if I would rather be uncut --- stuff like this tells me I am very happy the way I am..........:yeah::yeah::yeah:

It kinda depends how tight your foreskin is. If it won’t pull back at all or is really painful to try then head to the docs , they will advise what’s best.
If you can pull it back a bit then keep trying in the bath or shower the warm water will help soften the skin, of it starts to hurt stop and try again next day.

The adhesion should then give too.
Just don’t hurt yourself.

As for the poster above I’ve seen some pretty fucked up cut sicks and circumcision is not without its risks either ..

In the UK getting circumcised would be as a last resort

Oh I am sure it is not, but so far I have not saw a lot of comments with issues be cut (besides not wanting to be)......just my observations....

Like others have said, seeing a doctor would be the best. I think there are special creams which he can perscribe which help with that sort of thing.

start to stretch slowly and start off small until it becomes easy and painless, the skin might detach although i had the same situation but i just ripped it lol, there was no blood nor did it even take skin off, just separated and there was only slight pain (probably wouldn’t recommend it tho, most likely not the bet way to go about it)
