When you first had to undress in front of others guys at school how did you feel.
Was it awkward or did it change how you felt about your body or the way a body should look.

It was awkward -- especially when I realized I was one of the smallest in the group -- but after doing it for a while and some growth, no big deal any more.

At the beginning of 7th grade we were strongly encouraged (but not required) to shower after PE. The first day I didn't, but then I was all sweaty and a little stinky. So, the second day I got up my courage and stripped naked. I was VERY modest/shy because I had started growing hair down there. But when I showered, there were about 12 other naked classmates all just as naked. I pretended it didn't bother me to be naked, but it did.
After maybe 5 or 6 times it started feeling very natural and no big deal. Some boys still never showered, but I'd say 80% of the class was stripping and showering by October. I'm glad I did it.

Wow I haven't stripped naked to shower this year at school but maybe next year.

It was really awkward at first to change in front of others, and like the guy above said about showering naked it was tough at first. However, because everyone else was equally nervous no one said anything, and by the second month of gym class everyone had gotten into a routine.
It is normal to be self conscious when you look at others, but always remember that everyone is different and not to have unrealistic standards.

I showered with friends I had grown up with after basketball practice in 8th grade. I was shocked that they all had big dicks and pubes. I looked in the mirror later and saw i was about the same size and because my pubes were blonde they did not stand out much. I became more confident the next time.

Never thought of it after 6th grade basketball practice. We were all smooth. We realized later kid with pubes was the one that did not shower.

It was a bit awkward, I was used to sharing a room with a girl but it kind of felt new with just boys around. I got used to it pretty quickly though.

It was bad enough in 6th grade changing first with just my underwear on but it was awkward for me needing to get completely naked to change afterwards. But I assumed I was 100% gay then and stealing peeks at what everybody had made it better. And it didn't take long before no one cared anymore.

That never happened at my school. For some reason all the guys always changed in stalls. We only changed in front of everyone when we only had to go down to our undies. And that for the first time, in seventh grade, was different but it wasn’t really weird or special ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sure it was awkward the first few times. Just
undressing to ur underwear was difficult. As u
got to know ur classmates or teammates it got
easier to undress and even b naked for a few
minutes. Im sure that a lot of us had feelings
being unfit with the changes of our bodies.
Some of us were early or late into puberty
and that became uncomfortable. After a few
times changing or showering it didn't matter.

We started halfway through 6th grade so 11 and 12 and it was really awkward at first, especially because some guys had started puberty and had hair and bigger equipment but after a while it wasn’t as big of a deal. To be honest it made me want to get in shape be because I was kind of fat.

changing in front of other guys in school really wasnt that awkward for me because i was already used to changing in front of other people because of my going to the local swim club. Im kind of an exhibitionist, anyway, so it was pretty natural for me.

For me it was never awkward. I started changing at the beach and pool at like 5 years old. So I was used to it as I grew and matured. I guess I never really gave it a thought until I realized that I was Gay and even then I never really cared. I have an above average body I guess nothing spectacular or bad. I am proud of who I am and how I look. I never concerned myself about being modest. I think that today's worries about perverts and pedophiles has gotten everyone so worried that they tend to be over modest.

Didn't bother me at all. Share a room with my brother so we always changed together, and also with friends for swimming or sleepovers. I was nervous at school first few times we showered, changing doesn't take as long obviously. But I soon got used to it.

It felt awkward at first but as time went on, I got used to it and didn't really think much of it

Yeah it was really awkward at first. First time I was naked in front of others was freshman year and I didn’t shave my pubes and almost every other guy either shaved/trimmed/or didn’t even have pubes yet so I felt kinda awkward. And first time I showered naked I of course popped a boner but as I looked around I noted most guys were hard too so I didn’t worry so much. It just took me a while to get used to it.

I felt awkward and a bit uncomfy even though we don't strip to nude and don't shower. I was pretty chubby those times and felt unsure if anyone would comment anything but no one cared. Now after nearly 3 years in this school I got used to it, I have lost weight but now I have terrible acne on my back. Sometimes someone says like "it looks like you were hit by a whip" but it's not bullying so I respond "yeah, that's terrible", etc.

Yeah i had the same experience in the locker rooms too. Now it's just normal, and boys being boys!
