What’s the best thing about having a boyfriend/girlfriend?

Being single, I’m curious about what it’s like in a relationship!

Hmmm... To be loved, to feel something you have never felt before or after and to love back the person who loves you, and hopefully make them feel the same way.
To never want to part from them. To lern about them more and more and on adeeper level everyday, and hopefully for them to lern about you in the same way.
That's my top top three right there.

The changes that your other half can make you get. From my experience, I have a more positive look on life, which ofc, is a great change for me.

For me, it was to have someone who was really there for you. My BF was the best support I have ever had. He was always there for me no matter what it was. I know there are best friends to you in most cases, I have a couple myself. But my bf was there in a way no one could ever be.

Now he has moved away and I am quite heartbroken. It is one of the reasons I joined VT, was to have connection with people who knew what I am going through. Even though, I am no longer in a relationship, I will always say the best thing about a proper relationship, is the unconditional love and support you get, and the feeling of always being there for each other.

Talk together, have fun together, go to the cinema, joke around, kiss, and all that

Just knowing that I'm capable of loving someone else and also I can be loved by another non-family person.
And spending time and cuddling with someone you really love is pretty amazing.

Exactly! mick01 is spot on with his comment. Theres nothing like loving and being loved by another person thats not family.

I often feel a bit scared about trying to get that close to someone but this makes me realise it will be worth the effort and risk when the time comes.

The idea that a person can see you in your most vulnerable moments yet makes you feel safe is probably one of my favourite things about being in a relationship.

As others have said having the companionship and having “your special person” (in a monogamous relationship anyway) and the fact that you love someone who loves you back helps you feel protected. Plus, cuddling is probably the best thing in the world. :)
