Assuming she's turning 12 sometime this year, I'd say it's just within reasonable limits.

Yeah I would say it’s ok as she will be turning 12 this year

Yeah, any younger would've been to young imo.

yeah, if she is a year below you and not too far away from 12, that should be fine

Depends on what's "upstairs" as well, of course. :)

A year apart in age is completely normal, go out with her and see what happens

For now as friends, yes. Get to know her

As long as it's on an innocent basis. 11 is too young to get too heavy with anything.

If she is still in Primary school I reckon you have got to be careful. Might be tough but spend time round her house first before you go on a date so her mum can meet you and hopefully approve. Might not be a bad idea anyway.

That’s cool, hanging out and doing things together. Just be respectful and a gentleman.

A spread of 2 years between you and her in my opinion would be okay for you all to go out.

I think it really depends on your expectations of each other and what you want out of that relationship

If you two get along together, of course you can
I had my first 'real' girlfriend like this at 11 too :)

I don't think a year apart is a big deal

Yes since she is turning 12 I suppose it is find. Just keep it as a date to get to know each other and just have innocent fun watching a movie and eating candy and popcorn.

Probably perfectly fine. Take me as an example: I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 23. It's a great match regardless of the age difference

Not a big deal at all

It’s just a year difference, so I wouldn’t see a problem with it
