When I get a notification for a quote and I go to click on it, the website logs me out and says that I do not have permission to view that page. There is a log in right below the error so I log back in and am directed to the quotes page. It's not a big issue, but the most direct way to get to that quote page is by clicking the notification and when it logs me out it's just annoying to have to log back in.

That's strange. How long has that been happening?

Hm, that's kind of funky. Has that been going on for long? Did that happen before the downtime?

That happens to me as well, but strangely only on my iPad (which I'm using right now) but on my Mac or phone it won't do that.

I don't remember it happening before the downtime, just after, and it started the very first time I clicked on the alert after the site went up, I believe, and has continued since then.

I just checked - it does not happen with me.

It was happening consistently up until two minutes ago when I got my last alert when it didn't happen. I have no idea if it will continue to work or if I will still have to go through that 'detour'.

This is exactly what has been happening to me.

Still happening. That one time it worked was just one time.

Not at the moment....
The reason I asked you to quote me was to try and screen record it, but it worked normally so...

When you log in, do you check the box that says 'remember me?'
Sometimes after a while of being on VT (on a computer where I don't do the above) it logs me out when I click on a quote/profile/the like after the cookies expire.

No, I actually use VT in Private Browsing because I don't want to delete my history all the time in case someone I know besides my sister uses my computer. It's possible, however it only happens on post quotes, nothing else, and never before the downtime.

Please excuse the double post.
I need to bump this back up, it is still happening to me, just here, not on GovTeen or any other vB forum.
I am using Google Chrome on Windows 8.1. But I am in incognito mode

I'd suspect that might be why, as private browsing & similar functions do not accept cookies, or delete them very frequently.

I switched over to normal browsing, and I still have this problem, but not as often.

2 things.
Firstly, it doesn't delete the cookies until all the private browsing windows are shut,
And the other. I surf other sites using the same forum software in private browsing and never have had an issue with being logged out while looking a quotes
