I've been in a long distance relationship for almost 7 months. He went to go stay with family across the lake. Before that, he lived in my town and we dated once but ended it out of confusion. Things we're great, we made sure to make the other one feel special and happy. Then he came into town on Winter Break. He was supposed to visit me, but he never showed up and I texted him to see what was going on and he never answered.. Since then, I've texted him and he only answered one in January. In February. he started commenting a few times a week on something I posted on Facebook. It was usually casual conversation, maybe once or twice he commented something declaring our relationship..
I haven't heard a thing in over a month..

The last time he did something like this, it was because he wanted to end things because of him leaving.. Half of me is confused if I'm even dating him or if I need to move on. I also made a mistake leaving him the first time. I regretted it and luckily he let me come back around. I don't want to do that to him again and I don't want to do something I'll end up regretting. I'm just confused on what I should do..

I can't help you seeing as I'm going through the same confusion but for the same reason, I can say this: I'm always here if you need to talk to someone. Hope things get better for you, Madie

Whoa, that's a tough situation there. I'm sorry you have to go through this. But honestly if I were you, I'd clench my jaws, move on, and ignore the pain. I'm not telling you this is what you should do, but you deserve far better than a "hanging" relationship like this. It's not love if it doesn't make you feel loved.

I know how you feel. Everything seems to be going perfectly and BAM! It all falls apart.

To me it seems like he ain't really too interested in the relationship. If it were me in a long distance relationship I'd make sure I texted back or called as often as I could, you just have to make the effort. Personally I would call him so that you make sure you speak to him and let him know that you feel ignored and alone. Let him know that unless he starts caring a little more and making the effort to answer those texts or to phone you just to say he's thinking of you or missing you, you might have to end the relationship. I mean seriously how long does it take for a sweet text or call to say something nice once every few days!

I would do what everyone else is saying but I wouldn't be to aggressive with it at first. It seems he is more than likely not interested in a long distance relationship but for all we know he might be dealing with something in his life that is taking the majority of his time. I would attempt to talk/text with him and ask him what he truly feels about a long distance relationship and then go from there. Hope it all works out. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for the advice!

It's a really tough decision but I'm trying to consider everyone's input.
