What do you call "sometimes" in the poll? I have done it very occasionally, when it has been the only option, but for me it takes longer and seems like harder work to get there without the orgasm being any more intsense, unlike choosing to last for longer when doing it in bed when the orgasm is more intense.

That doesn't make it weird though. As the poll shows, other guys do j/o in the shower. If it works for you then there is not reason why you shouldn't do it.
