Who here likes doom metal? Thanks to iTunes Radio, I'm getting hooked on it really quickly. It's not furious like some metal but it's still really heavy which is awesome. So who else likes it? I know I can't possibly be the only one on VT who does.

I'm very new to the genre, but I do know I like Däng (http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/D%C3%A4ng/) and While Heaven Wept (http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/While_Heaven_Wept/) that have been classified as Doom Metal (more so the former than the latter). What you've been listening to?

I've been using iTunes Radio so it gives me a lot of different artists. But I do like My Dying Bride

I'm pretty sure those don't count as doom metal...

I find most Doom Metal bands to be pretty boring not progressive or aggressive enough for my tastes.
You should check out Katatonia they're pretty good.
