View Full Version : After death or miracle record keeping.

Has their ever been any effort from any paranormal researcher to credibly document medical miracle events, and or those who are on record to have died or be visited by either demons or angels, and shown heaven or hell.

The follow up question to that, is that from such testimonies of people who say they’ve seen hell or heaven, can we cooroborate as being from which religious faith?

At one level you have different faiths, but also at a second level you have to consider various diff doctrines of just the Catholic/Christian faith, regarding faith Vs works and HOW one should be considered saved?

So even just Amon Christianity, where do the after death reports lead us? I see tons of them on YouTube as well and once in a while on mainstream news just reference.

How can we know if what these people saw were real angels or if it was some sort of dream or hallucinations?

It's tough to tell, since we only have their word for what they experienced, and no hard evidence, which of course would be impossible to get. Maybe they experienced this, maybe they were hallucinating or dreaming, like Oscar2005 suggests, or maybe they're just full of s**t. We'll never know for sure.

You’d probably have to perform a meta-analysis and if one person’s details line up with enough consistent variables of another’s testimony that’s a good place to start.

Person A’s hallucinating should be different from person B’s hallucinations.

no one should't even try to get to know such stuff.
just believe it ... or even don't. that's all to know.

There is no angels or demons - it's all biblical fantasies... There might be, however, another creatures of another dimensions... And heaven or hell is also absent. Those two are also just old fantasies of an old fairy tale book... What you experience near-death is just hallucinations... What you might experience after death - it's completely different story... Firstly, paranormal investigator is not a scientific degree, because our science doesn't like to recognizr the supernatural so there is no "miraculous" event list - they simply are not allowed to work with unexplained cases on field. They can only have a plain grasp from the officialy released info, the rest is either debunked or classified...

By its nature its kinda difficult to keep track of. Additionally, I imagine people of differing faiths (or lack thereof) would interpret "miracles" and "visitations" different ways. Unexplained healing? An atheist would say its due to some undiscovered scientific principle while those of religions would attribute it to their respective deities.

As a theologically conservative Christian, I would just like to say that I seriously doubt many testimonies of people who claim that they went to Heaven. For one, in terms of the numerous claims of people being technically dead for a few minutes before being revived going to Heaven, why would an all-knowing and good God take your soul up to paradise if its going straight back to your mortal body? That seems a little cruel, doesn't it? It's argued among Bible scholars that Jesus weeping at the raising of Lazarus was not because he died, but because Jesus knew that raising Lazarus was to take him away from paradise.

Secondly, in the Bible only a select few have gone or seen Heaven without dying (not near death, actual death). I can only think of four right now: Enoch, Elijah, Paul, and John. Of them, Enoch and Elijah went up and never came down. There's a theory that they'll return as the 2 Witness of Revelations, but that's another topic. Paul, arguably the biggest figure in Christianity after Jesus himself, was given a glimpse of Heaven, but was forbidden to talk of it, saying that it was completely indescribable to us. John was permitted to write a bit about it, but that was because it was part of his greater mission, to record about the 2nd Coming and the end of the world as we know it. I find it hard to believe that we have Paul, the guy who wrote half the New Testament, being absolutely speechless at the sight of Heaven, but then have kids going to Heaven and simply saying "it was nice". Bit odd, if I do say so.

As for the angels and demons thing, I'm not saying they don't get involved, but I think their role is more limited than people like to think. Since the early days of Christianity (as in early enough that Paul addressed it in the book of Colossians) there have been groups of Christians who have tried to elevate angels and demons to more active players. Largely due to the influence of paganism and Greek philosophy, this doctrine has remained in a small subset of Christianity in certain shapes and forms since then, and has creep into some denominations to various degrees. Outside of Revelations, angels were used sparingly, and largely in a messenger/mass-murdering role. Again the Bible does mention "angels unaware" but I don't think its to the intent many like to believe it is.

Long story but... 2 1/2 years ago, someone severely beat me, locked me in a bathroom, and left me for dead. I didn't have the standard "near death experience" with the white tunnel of light, etc. that the whackos describe. But the night before I was rescued, I felt the persence of "God" with me. I have no idea what "God" is or how to even describe what I experienced because there aren't any words to describe it. I just know what I experienced.

Got no personal experiences but in RE lessons we were told there was some research done and some of it suggested peopel were aware of things around them in the room from maybe another angle to thier body or claimed to go into another world and be sent back. If Icantrack it down I will post it.

That’s your opinion, you can’t disprove spiritual beings

I’m so sorry that happened to you, you’re so lovely I can’t fathom why someone would ever want to :(
But I’m glad you felt that God was with you and that you weren’t alone

You must be destined for something special or it just wasn’t your time, I’m glad you’re still with us!!

Did I say there is no ghosts or, so called, spiritual creatures? What I said what that angels and demons are plain fantasy of biblical mythology... Well, if you are a religious fool and you need to believe is such a nonsenses just to keep going, please, be my guest... And you can't prove that angels or such kind of creatures exist either. The statement "I have experienced it", " I have felt it" is not a valid proof...

And just because you haven’t experienced it doesn’t disprove

I know it’s “cool” to hate on religion and insult people who have faith or beliefs in religion, but you just come off as a real douchebag

I don't hate on religion, because there is simply nothing to hate... I admire this machine of power and money that has tangled the minds of weak for more than 2 millenias and I laugh at those idiots who actually believe in Bible and in some celestial being what created the entire Universe just to watch it burn after... And don't post anything like "My prayers were one answered", " Virgin Mary once came to me in my dream to remind me of eating more vegetables"... The first one - you should read about meta-physics and power of the human mind and on the second - read about human psychology and sub-conciousness... Also, it wouldn't harm you at all to get to know science and logic. Maybe then the oblivious veil of children's naivity will fall off and the bliss of ignorance will fade... But, bearing in mind that you are no child actually, any more, and you still believe in fairy tales - there is no easy way coming out of it..

That’s really rude, I do really well in science actually

There are people way smarter than you and me who believe in it
Logic doesn’t apply
It’s faith
You can have science and still have faith

Hahaha... Just because I don't believe in a nonsense makes me a loser... Yeah, right... That's what all religious folks would tell... You can believe in your fantasies all you want, but remember, these are only fantasies... If you talk to God, you are religious. If God talks to you - you are psychotic.

Little girls shouldn't curse... Or didn't they teach you that on sunday schools? And don't expect going to heaven - you will rot in hell just like we all as you have sinned...
