What is the upcoming game that you are looking forward to the most? It can be any game on any platform due out anytime.

My favorite game of all time is Final Fantasy VII and so the game I want the most ever since it was announced is the remake version. Here's the trailers:

I didn't even know GOW5 has been announced already. This is one of the reasons why I made this thread, to find out about some possible releases I didn't know yet.

It's not a remaster but a remake. They remade the entire game, not only enhanced the original one. People often confuse both terms.

Um, what's the difference? I was alway's under the impression that it was exactly the same as the original virsion, with the exception of the new camera angle mode, and new bonus content like skins and such.

I just explained it to you. Remake = entirely remade. Remastered = same game with some enhancements.

They usually change the gameplay a good bit in remakes. FFVIIR for example will have an action based battle system (which will be the same as KH3) but the original game was turn based.

Of course a remaster will have the exact same gameplay with some tweaks and mostly graphical improvements. HD remasters usually has higher resolution textures and pre-rended cutscenes converted in HD as well.

Epic made an exclucivity deal with Obsidian's publisher, and now the game wont come out on steam until 2020. did a great job killing my hype.

still might just buy it on console tho, we'll see

There's also a 3DS version fortunately because that console sold a lot more than the Wii U did but that game on the Switch will be best.

Nothing coming out too soon that has me very hyped. I still have a big backlog of games on Steam that I should really play before buying more. That said, if Rockstar announces GTA VI or says RDR 2 is coming to PC, I will cheer.

Female criminals exist. I think sometimes action games try to be so "macho" and masculine it's silly so I'd like to see it balanced out with a female protagonist or two.
