Kaia Gerber’s Boyfriend’s Racist Rant! (https://youtu.be/TwOTHC7KFw4)

Kaia Gerber’s Boyfriend, Wellington Grant (who is White), made several racist posts on Instagram where he made fun of black people and made insulting comments. This is just the latest racism in fashion scandal. He said that he has “demonstrated his true black qualities” and that he is “Official African American Citizen”. He also mocked the way black people speak and said: “I’m black!”, and “Fer days boyyy”.

Kaia Gerber is Cindy Crawford’s daughter and she is dating this guy who has made these racist posts and she is sticking by this guy despite the hurtful and insensitive comments he has made.

This guy is a model for brands such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Ferragamo and more. And these brands still employ him and he has not had to face any consequences for his disgusting racist comments.

How do you feel about someone who is White mocking African Americans and other people of color, and saying “I’m black ... fer days boyyy... Wellington Grant (him) has demonstrated his True Black Qualities (as) an Official African American Citizen”.

Also what does he mean by “True Black Qualities”? What does a pickup truck-driving White man from rural Oregon mean by “True Black Qualities”?

Why is this guy dating a supermodel and why is he modeling for these major brands, many of whom have already had racism scandals lately like Prada?

Please watch the video here (https://youtu.be/TwOTHC7KFw4)and tell me what you think about this whole thing in the comments below.

It’s not so late that consequences can’t still happen.

I just think that with the decline of shopping malls and other variables like shrinking of the middle class, those brands will suffer anyway in terms of gross sale loss over the course of the next 20 years.

To play devil’s advocate, some would argue at what point in time did the speech pattern “fee days boy” become synonymous with a race? Some could argue it’s a musical style type speech slang that began developing during late 1980’s and 90’s-2000’s.

At what point can it be considered mocking when 10 waves of generations of 18 year olds, have kinda emulated that kind of popular culture? This dynamic feeds into why there’s been backlash to the social justice movement because it sometimes overreaches in it’s arguments despite being well-intentioned. Some would argue that the social justice movement, should stop once it’s eliminated violent crimes, or developed a fairer system to handle former injustice but keep the positives of the older system.
