I am a competitive and now high school swimmer and I have to wear speedos to practice. I hate this because for my age (14) I have quite a large bulge. I constantly get stared at when getting out of the water because of the obvious distraction and its quite embarrassing. I have tried wearing darker colored swim suits and positioning it in different ways but nothing seems to hide it. Any suggestions and does anyone else in my situation deal with this?

I feel you on this man. I’m on the local school swim team and it’s kinda hard to hide it in a speedo. Ours are black with a dark purple stripe on the side so it’s not as noticeable, but I feel like my bulge is still sticking out pretty good in a speedo. Not much you can really do. But I have a big bulge in a speedo too. But once your under the water I guess it doesn’t matter as much.

I can relate, its very embarrasing, Im a shower so its even worse. Its uncomfortable and annoying, everyone stares. Im 7.5 inches soft

there's not really much you can do since speedos are designed to wrap snugly on your body, maybe just accept and embrace it?

I swim, I also wrestle, and honestly there is nothing we can do to truly hide it. It's just what we got! lol

I am not a swimmer (well, not in a team and not regularly) but I don't see many solutions. Darker colours are probably a good idea. Maybe a pattern could act like camouflage.

We guys have no choice but to wear such swimming suits at the public swimming pool anyway. I guess most people who go there regularly are used to see that and don't really care anymore.

Been there done that mate...Trust me I know how embarrassing it was at the beginning, but quite soon you will get used to it and when every other boy are wearing speedo showing their bulges too you will realise no one is actually staring at you. And today speedo is actually my favourite type of swimsuit!

It's virtually impossible to hide your junk in any speedo. They all reveal pretty much what you have.

Tim-U with the other guys r a team and
Im sure they have the same problems
with speedos as u. U may think everyone
is looking at u but being on the swimming
team u have to expect that most of u guys
r going to have a budge-it goes with the
sport. I would just swim ur best and try to
forget the budge. Ive seen a lot of guys go
and adjust themselves cause they have to.

It is a nice problem to have a big bulge. I would love that issue.

We wear jammers for swimming and it's not much better because they fit the same way. We wear speedos for diving (I do both) and that's a little worse because then you are up there by yourself when it's your turn. It still sounds like a good problem I hope to have more of ;P

Yeah…. on swim team too. At my school swim practice for girls and the boys is the same time. It sucks to have that problem. Everyone pretty much is all the same and one boy has an elephant trunk packed down there….lol!!!

I wear jammers for meets, and sometimes I wear speedo for practice. Don’t have that problem with having a big bulge.
It’s a good thing to have.

There's practically no way to hide your bulge when wearing a speedo, unless your wrap a towel around your waist. I also am on the swim team and we wear speedos for meets. I personally don't have a problem with showing my bulge when I wear a speedo to swim.

My GF says stop worrying about it bc I got plenty and she has seen it and in my swim gear many times. She swims too. So, don’t worry...good problem to have.... Happy with what I got too and since I was later starting than everyone else finally caught up. Holy Sh!T! WOW! LOL!

U eventually just get used to it and ignore other people. I’ve been wearing speedos for years now and the thought doesn’t even pass my mind anymore

Same here. Been on swim team for a while now and it doesn’t even bother me.

Our speedos for our swim team are a pattern of red, blue and yellow colors which tend tend to hide bulges. I have noticed other teams with a single color that u can see more. They guys on our team who are bigger u can't really see much.
