View Full Version : Nudes on your phone

So the other day I asked my friend if I could use his phone to send myself a picture he had taken a while back. Anyway when I opened his photos he had quite a bit of naked selfies and what not just right there in his photos. My friend and I are close so it was no big deal but I just find it strange to not try to hide those pictures somewhere. I’ve always been super nervous about having anything like that on my phone cause if my mom or whoever needs to use it and could accidentally stumble across it. And without getting too graphic does anyone else do this or do you try to hide them? Or not even take them at all in the first place?

I don't mess with nude pics at all
with the phone or the internet. If
anyone does then they should hide
them someplace. If u saw the pics
of ur friend u should have made a
comment about glancing at them
when u were searching for ur pic.
U don't have to make a big deal
about it. Just tell him he should
hide any pics that r questionable
for his own safety.

I don't take such pictures for all the reasons you said.

I don't think we have any idea about ALL the snooping that's probably being done on us through our phones. This is why I would NEVER take, accept, or send any nude pic from my phone or my computer.

It is a very bad idea to have nay such pictures on your phone or computer.

Yeah, that's a good reason too. Just imagine all the social network apps and other apps of unknown developpers having access to all that...
It's also true some dubious apps with hidden malware sent all the data to servers in China, Russia or whatever country.
I'm glad I don't have such pictures.

I don't take nudes but I'm kinda the same like my friends go on my phone and it'd be so awkward accidentally leaving porn or something open like its my worst social fear

This is why sending nudes can be risky and not a good idea

I would never dream of having them saved to my phone. That's why everyone uses snapchat for it - no physical record.

I wouldn't be so naïve, snapchat definitely does leave traces, as does eveything :b

The company itself undoubtedly has some server record somewhere in its catalogues but I meant in terms of your phone. By this point, the poor moderators in SC HQ have likely seen a billion dicks.

Again I am sure there are still traces on your phone saying that it would probably take an expert to find/recover them. Plus there is going to be traces on the other person's phone. For all you know they could be screen recording or some shit.
Also the "poor" part is subjective :v

Some very true points. That's indeed the risk you take when you choose to send pics but that's a discussion for a different thread. This one's just about how common it is to save pics to your gallery like any other photo.
Also, after the billionth, it probably stops being arousing

To finally answer the question instead of being a bit annoying. I never save photos to my main gallery. If I have pictures saved then they are stored in the "secure folder" on my phone, which has duplicate apps of basically everything whose files are sectioned off and requires my fingerprint to get in (even with the phone unlocked)

I don't know how old your friend but for my opinion its alright for someone above 18 to have naked selfie as long as it is not sexual activity. But it can be bad if you are below 18. And tell him to lock the phone.

IF I were to do such a thing, I would go out of my way to hide them from anyone being able to see them, especially if I am going to be letting other people use my phone.

Did you ask him about them? You could even point out that you could have sent them to yourself along with the photo you were after, then from there, the photos could go anywhere

I'm not shy but still I've always thought that taking nude pictures of yourself is a bit much, so no I don't take them and if I ever did I wouldn't have them on my phone at all.

I never take any nude photos. And even if I plan to keep them private, there's a good chance that someone will accidentally find it.

Jake is absolutely right. It's a really bad idea and could be very risky if found out.

So you take pictures of yourself naked but don't send them ? Why do you take them then if nobody see them?

In fairness some people just find it arousing. Still all the risks as if you send them such as the risk of someone seeing them/being illegal to take but without the added risk of others sharing them

it's not a good idea to keep them! if your friend is under 18, it's illegal in the US! dont send them, dont let anyone else send them, and of course, delete them

It seems dumb to a) send them and b) keep them on your phone. But I know that guys will anyway, or they’ll use a site/ that password protects them such as Snapchat’s ‘My Eyes Only’ which requires a password to view, still I wouldn’t send or store them as the cloud and internet is not the safest way to do this kinda stuff.

I've taken them but I always delete them because I'm self conscious because I can never get the right light or angle and it always either makes me look small or makes my penis look dirty or overly hairy or something like that. If I were to keep one I would spend the $5 on the app store and buy a privacy app!

I would tell your friend to delete them as it's super illegal to have them (if he's underage). If he really wants to take them, then delete them afterwards.

I picture myself nude. But just my penis with no face. After that I imidietly delete them. And double check

I have some nudes of mine on my phone, but I have them storaged under a password in a different folder... And since I'm not a model or other kind of famous shit, I am not very concerned about someone looking at them... Well, if there is someone, then lucky bastard - he ain't gonna see anything better lol..

If you're an iphone user. There's such thing as hidden album where you can hide photos without them being deleted.
Btw i delete nude pics in my phone afterwards
