I feel embarrassed since my voice is cracking. I just feel like people judge me and will make fun of me. I know this is normal part of my life and that everyone was here before, it is like I feel like I don't want to grow up due to my voice cracking almost after every word.
As my paranoid self, I am very judge mental about everything I do, I am always on the edge of my toes of the possible reactions of people and think of comebacks regularly, and I always isolate playing games on my laptop, not even exercising regularly.
I am tired of this anxiety and wish I could go to the time where I wasn't experiencing this.
Anyone else like this? How fast did your voice change? I hope for me that like some people have said - it happens overnight.

My voice hasn't changed yet, but I have a speech impediment caused by dyspraxia, so I can relate to being embarrassed about talking.

For me it kind of happened slowly over time, my voice just deepened and one day someone commented on it. I was like "Huh, never noticed"
As for the anxiety, everybody gets that about different aspects of puberty. Just accept it and move on, it happens to everyone. One of my friends walked into class late in 8th grade and loudly said "Hi Guys!" ad his voice cracked right in the middle. Everyone laughed about it and he just laughed it off as well, turned into an inside joke.

My voice hasn't changed yet. But when my voice changes I think I'll sound older and more respected.

same, all my friends has changed so im the odd one out. when i had a sore throat (i have one now infact) it sounded as if my voice was breaking, and people just laughed, but at me, not cause of my voice, cause i was getting so pissed off. unfortunatly it was just a sore throat, so my voice is still quite high pitched, and i would much rather know that my voice is breaking, than knowing that my voice should break soonish

I've had that - it's kinda annoying whilst it changes. It's some for worse than others. It will level off eventually. The only thing is "payback" when it happens to your mates :-)

You only live once...and you shouldn't be embarrassed of what others are thinking of you especially for such a case like puberty.
Relax dude. Everyone has gone through this! ;)

My voice is lower and has been for around 4 or 5 years but LUCKILY I can still go quite high pitched and I love that :D I can meow just like my cat (probably sounding stupid but he keeps meowing back at me and I actually watched his mouth so I know how to do it properly) :kitty::D:kitty::D:kitty:
