Same here, why would you deprive yourself of about the most pleasurable activities you can indulge in?

Hey Chloe, well supposedly the idea behind it, (from guys anyway) is that the lack of masturbation promotes productivity and/or makes you generally feel more energetic/better about speaking to people daily life.
Come to think of it, i've never like counted the days between orgasm via a fap or a girl and noticed the effects etc so i just wanted to know if anyone noticed real effects.
And yeah you're right aha it does seem silly halting your pleasure

The main effects l can see would be stress and frustration, neither of which are really conducive to concentrating and being able to direct your energies into something productive.

I wouldn't do something crazy as that.
Anyone who does accomplish it probably
has blisters after starting again.

I wouldn't give it up either. It's way too much fun and pleasure. Besides, it doesn't do any harm unless you overdo it.

I tried doing no nut November this last year and made it 19 days. Hardest thing ever, pun intended. All I could thing about all day was how horny I was and how badly I wanted to masturbate and eventually gave in.

Pretty much sums it up, didn't attempt in November and no reason not to do it in general anyways.

Like you, I'd be very surprised to find general increase in concentration, energy and a feeling of wellbeing. I can see that an increase in horniness coupled with a vow not to do anything about that solo may mean one would devote more energy into seeking sex with others. So does:
..feel more energetic/better about speaking to people daily life.
actually mean:
feel more energetic about speaking to people with the intention of initiating sex
If so I am not sure that is necessarily a good idea. Where there is a spark people manage to get it on even without one of them having to be insanely horny due to no masturbation. Being frustrated seems more likely to make someone a pest. A bit of an extreme example but I saw an article that correlated access to the Internet with a reduction in rape and found they correlated very well. Now obviously, that could mean that the Internet had exposed people to ideas about how bad rape was but the author of the article thought that it was more likely that access to porn and normalisation of masturbation meant guys took care of their horniness themselves and then didn't go out looking in a mood not to accept no as the answer.
On the point about general energy I can see that someone may note that there is a period of post orgasm relaxation and suppose that this carries on for hours and saps your energy whereas actually it is more like a few minutes.
The only way I could see someone genuining feeling better for giving up masturbation is if they are so racked with guilt for doing it that not doing it releases that guilt. Even then it may be better to work out where the source of the guilt is and deal with that, rather than set your conscious mind against your instincts and miss out on pleasure at the same time.

What others do is their own business, but I could never give up masturbating. It's one of my favorite hobbies, after all.

I wouldn't try it, unless the amount of masturbation would hinder me in other aspects of life. And it doesn't, so I don't see the need to stop.
And I don't think quitting masturbation without replacing it with something else that is useful will work long term anyway.

No, I would not do it because I like masturbation.
generally feel more energetic
This is an explenation of body function and especially of masturbation dating from the early modern age. They were the one who claimed masturbation is unhealthy and destroys the body.
