Idk why I do this but when I hold out my hand I cant stop shaking it. It happens when I have caffine and when I dont. Is there anything I can do to help this.

Btw I dont do drugs or under any medication.

Sounds like it could be a neurological problem

How bad do you shake it? I shake mine like a milimeter and I went to the doctor and he said it's just my nervous nature.

I have that too, I don't think it's something to worry about. In my case, it's just a nervous tick that runs in the family.

If it IS nerves, that would most likely explain why it happens to me too in college more when I'm showing people things on my phone screen than at home when I generally just hold my hand up. I can't stay still though, need to keep moving, so I generally just move around a lot without meaning to :D

Not much more though, I think with me it's partly a thing with both autism and hypotonia which are 2 things I know about (but not too much) :whoops:

You're probably just a nervous and worried person. Sometimes I have that too. Do you have it like all the time or just on certain occasions?

If you say its when you have caffine, you may be sensitive to caffine. If i drink a cupbof strong coffee,it will likley perk me up, but to some it may be too much caffine causing the "caffine jitters". Nothing to serious, just go easy on caffine, or drink caffine free products, see your doctor for advice too if you sre worried.

I sometimes have that. I don't think it's serious, might just be caused by stress/anxiety or just being nervous

Tremors are essentially unwanted movements which are not consciously coordinated by the brain.

In most cases, these symptoms are benign in nature in young people. What you might have is something called benign tremor, which sometimes runs within families and is inherited. Other times, it is due to organic reasons - medical conditions like overactive thyroid or liver disease. As you described yourself, drugs or medications like caffeine, or withdrawal from them can lead to unwanted movements too.

Then there are conditions of neurological degeneration, like Parkinson's Disease, which lead to unwanted tremors too. These are unlikely in young people, unless there are syndromes within the family itself.

I'd suggest a visit to the doctor to do simple checks like thyroid hormone levels to make sure there aren't any innocent causes for the tremor. If all these causes are ruled out, and it does cause you a lot of problems, you might then be started on some medications to help it. Beta-blockers are a common class of medication used for tremors and were actually used in the past for people like archers, who needed still hands for shooting. These have since become banned in competition, but are still useful as for cases like this.

Hope this helps.
