Essentially, if it is sexual intercourse, or anything deemed as 'sex' within the law, you should wait until you are over the age of consent, whatever it is wherever you live. Experimenting with some other, 'lighter' things wouldn't be too bad but usually it's best to wait until you feel emotionally mature enough, then there's no real age, but I would say once you have experienced some or all of puberty. I'm 15 and never even kissed anyone, and let alone done anything sexual; but a lot of my friends of the same age have, so it really varies. Just be safe, comfortable and trust yourself, and you should be fine! :)

the feeling and the mood at the right time.

saying they r sexually active does not mean
for u to rush into something so personal just

curious experimenting. Sometimes it does
lead to something else. As long as u know
the person an u r not being hurt. If u have
doubts then u probably think u r too young.

to do anything intentionally sexual, I think anything below the age of 13-14 is too young, though I started when I was 12. Experimenting is a natural thing and shouldnt be counted as intentional sex -- if any of this makes sense..

I think it has a lot to do with the age you start puberty.
I think if you start late then you are not physically or emotionally ready for sex.
If you start developing earlier then you are probably ready.
Either way you should use proper protection and don't do anything you don't want to.

For vaginal intercourse I think 13 is too young for both guys and girls. And I think 14 is too young, too. For guys messing with guys, I think age 9 is too young.

For intercourse, too young is below legal age of consent. Every area has their own set legal age of consent.

I would very much consider the age spread. Like 13 and 17 I would say that these two should not do experimenting with each other.

I would say puberty age range. I think most people mature at different age. I think most guys jerk or trade blow during early puberty., more for getting to know your body changes, and your friends Later in puberty for a more emotional reasons.

I’m 17 and am still a virgin and am perfectly okay with that. I’ve read so many peoples comments on this site talking about how they had sex at 13 and I just find that so strange. I feel like the age when you’re ready will be different for everyone but I’d still rather wait until it’s with someone I actually care about than just some random girl at school.

I think the age gap is the big part of it - if a girl is 12 and is ready/wanting and the boy is 12-14 I’d say that’s okay, if he’s much old then no, that’s getting into creepy territory
