I'm not sure about the chronic (long term). It makes perfect sense that if your body has started making semen before you've discovered masturbation that would make it more likely your first ejaculation would be from a wet dream. But I can't see why that would make continuing to have wet dreams once you have discovered masturbation any more likely. I think people just vary.
