My experience as a guy is that you can feel tension building up and up until you reach a kind of edge. Funny thing about that. Everyone "knows" what red looks like. But we don't really know what it's like to see red the way someone else does. That's interesting. My experience, as a guy, is that there is no such thing as not intense orgasm, but some are more intense than others. For me, though, that's not random; it's a case that the longer I have spent close to that edge before going over it, the more intense the orgasm is.

This is pretty much my exact sentiment on the subject. Not only is it almost impossible to explain the feeling that happens to us fully, due to the lack of perspective that comes from talking to someone whose body doesn't function the same way, but even within the same gender the spectrum of feelings is wildly subjective. You can be given a basic description (as some of the people in this thread have done) but the full understanding can't really be conveyed unless someone experiences the exact same thing. That can be difficult, as even one person won't experience the same orgasm twice.

All that is to say, I have a basic understanding but I still do wonder, as everyone does. :)
