Hello, just wondering when you guys started shaving and how you spoke to your parents about it. I am very shy and I am too embarrassed to tell my parents. I am being made fun of at school so I want to shave. What do I use to shave and is there a way i could secretly get a shaver?

Use either an electric shaver (easier, but costs more to buy, makes more noise) or blades (needs foam, silent, requires a little training to master).
There is a whiteboard at my home where we write down whatever must be added to the next weeklt shopping list. Maybe you have the same kind of thing? In that case, you could just add "shaver+foam" to it, without saying anything. And if your parents ask you about it, just answer: "Yeah, I too wonder what a shaver is for". :D
Or just buy a blade and some foam at your local supermarket, and put them at a very visible place in the bathroom. They should understand the message pretty well.
Or another way to open the discussion with your father if you are too shy to go straight to the matter would be to ask him the difference about an electric shaver and blades, if it is difficult to use, or why he's buying a brand instead of another. That could help him understand that you'd want to go on with shaving.

U don't need to b embarrassed. Show ur
Dad that ur getting hair on ur face and ask
him what u can do. I'm sure he would say u
have to start shaving and then u can ask for
a razor.

are you talking about shaving your face or body parts, if its your face and you don't have access to buy a razor you could use one that your family members use without them knowing; but if its your body you could do the same or use an electric hair clipper. don't feel shy talking to your parents about buying a razor because you'll need one sooner or later, if your really against telling them buy one and hide it so they don't know

I would not feel embarrassed to ask your parents, and it is best to be honest with them about your issue. A lot of us when down the same road as you, but when we talk to our parents, then they were remarkably understanding.
As for trying to shave by yourself for the first time, I would not recommend doing that. Is there an older male relative or friend that you have you can ask in case your parents are not helpful?
Again, I think your best bet is to ask your parents for help since they will be the first one to notice when you do not have hair on your face.
Do not worry about the folks at school because they're being jerks, and you're just fine.

It was my dad who looked at me one day and said you need to learn how to shave. So he and my brother taught me. I would think that your parents look at you and would realize you need to learn how to shave too. But like others have said, there';s nothing to be embarrassed about. It's not like you have any control over hair growth.

I was 14 when I started shaving. My mom gave me a razor and some shaving creme and said that I needed to start shaving. There is nothing to be shy or scared about because you need to or feel you need to start shaving. All guys need to start shaving sometime. Just ask your parents for money to by either an electric or safety razor. Which ever kind or brand you prefer. I am sure that they will understand. Just do it.
