I am afraid of being gay and i dont want to be gay.Dont take me wrong i like females.But theres a thing about this usually i said that every guy is ugly no matter what.but whaen i turned 14 i kinda changed the way looking at men.Now not every guy is ugly.Now i can reccognise guys that are handsome and the their not.i am simpply afraid of being gay and thats the problem right now. plzz help

I don't even think it's a "stage" Spyware. All he said is that he can RECOGNIZE when a guy is handsome by maybe a girl's standards. That in NO way makes you gay. You said yourself that its girls you like. All these year's you've had a sort of phobia of homosexuality that you made yourself that ALL guys are just disgusting (in order to "keep yourself from becoming gay"). Now you're just older and more mature and can realize when someone is attractive or not. ANY straight guy can think that another guy is handsome (ME for example), I know a friend of mine that gets a lot of attention from the ladies in our class and I REALIZE that it is because he has good looks. It's not that big of a deal really. Alot of guys have just become paranoid over every small thing being an indication that they are gay. So.... you KNOW that you like girls.... and you KNOW that you DON'T want to be gay!

Canadian Guy has got it down! Every guy doesnt need to be ugly for you to be straight! Just recognising that a guy is cute doesnt mean you are gay, bi, curious, etc. No reason to worry spawn!

yeah these guys are right
i mean girls can tell other girls if they look hot or not but they aren't lesbians.
its just a male stereotype, but i think most guys know if another guy is attractive or not but most won't go around saying it because they don't consider it a "normal" thing to do.

don't stress ... if you are sexually attracted to them come back and let us know :P

Yes, they've all hit the nail squarely, and on top of that, I don't recall what it's called, (maybe Hero Worship?)but it's when one guy become sexually aroused at the site of another. It's a weird thing that is generally nothing more then arousal, and you don't even fantasize or anything, and it's totally normal.

as they have said above, just because you think thier hot doesnt mean your gay, and BTW, even if you are gay, its nothing to be ashamed of, and if you are, you cant change that, so saying you dont want to be gay doesnt help
