Well, I've been for a while on this site and have read many threads on this topic
But to be honest, I've never had a physical in my entire life.

So a few questions

How frequently do you have physicals?
What kind of doctor does the physicals?
Who schedules them? (You, your parents/guardians, the doctor, etc.)
What does a physical involve for you?
Do you know if it has any cost?

And last but not least
Is it weird that I've never had one lol?

I think the need to have physicals varies a lot from one country to another.

You'll only know if you personally are unusual if you talk to other boys of your age in your own country.

I believe that in the USA it's normal to have physical check-ups, but in the U.K. it isn't unless you've got problems you want to discuss with a doctor or nurse.

I hope that helps, but you can only answer your own question by chatting to your friends there.

As mentioned before physicals aren't that much of a thing in the Uk. Nevertheless I have had to get naked for my doctor to check various parts before, I'd say that's rare, especially at 15

Exactly, not common where I live in Europe either. I have never heard of someone having one.

Unless you're talking about the kind of appointment where the doctor checks quicly whether you are in a good health (checking basic things like breathe, heart beat, weight, height and life habits etc, but nothing else) and signs a paper certifying you can pratice some specific sport in a club or at school. But seriously, it has never been a big deal and nobody talks about that.

I get at least two a year, one from my own doctor and another one done at school. They are quite common in the US. Sometimes one is required for participating in sports, or at a milestone age like starting middle school or if someone moved here from a different school district.

It involves getting undressed and the doctor or the school nurse doing a thorough examination of all areas of the body. For girls beyond the age of puberty it also at least for me has included internal examination down there during each physical exam.

And if there are vaccinations you need to be updated on, they always ask and check your medical records and will give you the shots right there at the time of your exam.

My mom schedules the ones with my family doctor and the school schedules the ones with the school nurse or doctor.

They do them here as soon as a girl starts her periods, and sometimes a very simple quick look inside will be done even before reaching that age. I've had two this year, one from my family doctor and another during my physical by the school nurse. No big deal, you get used to them but I agree with their reasoning for making sure this important exam is done regularly, particularly with girls who are sexually active.

It varies a lot over countries. I only had 2 in my life, because in Poland you need to have one when you finish one and go to next level of education. Both of these exams were abdominal organs exam (by touching), lungs and heart hearing, eye test, ear test, but never had genital exam. Both doctors only asked if it's all okay down there

Usually after he checks my front private parts he has me bend over and feels/checks my spine. Then when he gets to the bottom he just spreads my cheeks and takes a look. So "touch the toes" is the answer to your question.
