Hi everyone. I’m Lucy - Nice to meet you.
I’m new in here. I used to be a melder of teen-help (where did the forum go?)

I’ve had the anorexia diagnosis for 8 years, and still struggeling.
The past week has been horrible with binge-eating, and I feel like i’ve gained 1000 Kgs. Any good ideas to avoid binge-eating?

Thanks for reading this. <3

Hi Lucy
I would say binge eating is stress reducer
as with any other compulsion. I would make
a list of the times u r most vulnerable to eat
a lot and when the urge occurs start doing
something that will get ur mind off it.

Eat a lot of low-calorie, high-fiber foods to avoid feeling hungry. Basically eat fruits and veggies.

Wholeheartedly agree. As someone who has struggled with gaining weight, high fiber foods have kept me full. I'll sometimes do a Fiber One bar for breakfast and that'll keep me full until lunch.

Eat foods that are filling, make you feel full for longer and are good for you
High fat n protein, not junk and sugary stuff or carbs
If you’ve heard of paleo, that kind of food

And do your own cooking, prepare all your own food and you’ll appreciate it more and not binge it as much because you’ll value the effort
