So I'm 13 (14 in August) I have had pubes since I was 9/10 and I started shaving my legs when I was 9/10, I had to shave my arm pits when I was 11, I have had discharge for at least 1 and a half years, I'm pretty sure I have had cramps lately and my back aches but it's only been a little bit every now and then (monthly) but still no period. I've lied to my friends about having it two years ago. Just because I wanted to fit in. My question is, is there any big warming signs right before your period? Like something really big happens and you know you will have it soon? Or does it just come?

I don't really think there are any real warning signs as such, well there wasn't any with me. They say though, to give you an idea, that your periods generally start about 2 and a half years after first noticeable breast development. Also if you ask your mom (if you're not too embarassed) generally girls start at about the same time their mom did. However I was bit earlier than my mom :P.

Don't worry though, it will come!!

Nope, it is totally unexpected. You'll probably have it around when your mom did so if you want to ask her, go ahead. Though most girls get their periods about two years after needing a first bra, I didn't get mine until 4 years later, so nothing is set in stone for anyone. You sound like you will be getting yours within the next few months.
