When I am soft, I have about 1 inch in overhang (going past the tip of the glans). When I am hard, I have about 1/4 inch past the glans.
I don't have phimosis or anything, and I can retract. I usually don't retract when I pee, but I sometimes do, and I always retract to clean when I shower.
Is this normal? And should I ask my doctor?

I think there isn't a normal or not normal for this. As long as you aren't having any problems, you should be fine.

I agree with the previous post; everyone is different so there's no normal or not normal in terms of how much foreskin you have. The only time it'd be an issue is if it interferes with your normal function in some way, which I'm guessing it doesn't?

You are perfectly normal and actually lucky to stay covered when erect. Just like anything else we are different in some ways. You have nothing to worry about and no need to ask your doctor about unless of course you want to.

My brother is about the same. Our doctor never said it was a problem for him

I would just do nothing unless it's bothering you. I think that it would be easier to jerk off right?

Foreskin length does seem to vary. There have been surveys before and different guys have different amounts of coverage all of which are normal. Yours seems pretty long but that's fine - as long as you can pull it back when you want to there is no need to be concerned.

I guess if you dont feel any issue, or discomfort or pain or whatever, then you're fine ;)

I have about 1.5" of overhang when soft and a little overhang when hard. There is no such thing as too much foreskin. Everyone is different. Enjoy it.

Thanks for all the answers.
I was just asking to make sure. I never asked about it during annual checkup with doctor, and doctor never said anything (usually asks me to retract foreskin to make sure I don't have an infection or uti)

Before I was circumcised I had an inch and a half of foreskin. The doctor couldn’t retract it all the way, so that plus a small case of phimosis equaled 12 year old me being circumcised.

Seems okay to me! If you can do everything you need to you're fine!

Mine is overhanging also ! It was difficult to retract it before but since few weeks it goes back better and better and only small discomfort remains. I am glad not having to be circumcised

I agree. You're normal. Mine overhangs a half inch when soft.

If you are truly concerned, you might want to consider asking your doctor if this is normal because they are experts.

foreskins come in all shapes and sizes, as long as it isn't swollen, sore or discoloured there shouldn't be an immediate need for concern

I have allot of skin over mine soft or hard I have never seen my head or pee hole thingy
That's not so good though, you're supposed to uncover the head to wash and for sex. Keep wanking by pulling the skin back as far as you can, that should help stretching it.

And if your doctor is like the rest, he will either Dock or want to circumcise you.
I am happy uncut.
