Might depend on how much you had before you shave or trimmed for me I stay shaved so its like stubble after a couple of days -

Mine used to grow back in like 1 to 2 months, but now it has taken like 8 months. I can judge if it's full by the amount of pubes that regularly shed, and not many are shedding...
