So, I recently ran out of deodorant and have been too lazy get more, but i noticed that after 3 days that my armpits don't smell at all... Even after I ran a 5k. Is that weird? Do your armpits eventually stop smelling as you get older? I didn't think so.

I would say armpit odor gets worse
as u get older. U maybe not b able to
smell urself but others might so I would
use a deodorant.

No your pit odor doesn't go away with age. You should have someone else smell your pits after running and get their opinion. Sometimes when you sweat profusely your perspiration doesn't smell. That could be it also. Buy some deodorant bud.

Yeah I would say that if anything your pits smell more as you get older at least that's how it's been for me and I'm noticing it with my younger brother.

You get used to your own scent after a while. Other people likely can smell it pretty well, you just can't any more.

I think armpit odor gets worse as I got older.
When I run out of deodorant but can't go to the store to buy some yet, I just use body wash and don't rinse it off well, it works as a temporary solution.

I don't think armpits smell less as getting older...

It's just probably you becoming used to the smell

Usually it gets worse with age. It’s possible you just don’t smell much, but it’s also possible not to smell your own smell.

I agree with Arthur that probably you really don't smell. But you may want to check with a best friend and ask him if he can smell any body odor after you run or work out. But really I don't think it's a big problem in your case. Otherwise, someone would have told you they can smell you.

Buy some deodorant. It's really cheap and makes you smell nice.

This thread is pretty old, but I know that you don't have armpit hair yet so chances are you don't smell as strong as if you were more developed.

it usually reaches a point in puberty then stays like that for the foreseeable future, and its easier for other people to smell you then it is for you to smell yourself, so for others sake I'd probably slap on some antiperspirant.

I think you get used to it. I used to be able to smell my sweat but I got used to it now since I can’t really smell it anymore but sometimes my friends tell me that they smell it. Keep using deodorant
