Hearing my parents

Hello all.

As you can see, I just joined the site yesterday. I did this because I have a question, no so much as a problem.
My brother (age 20) moved out this summer, so it’s a bit quieter around the house.
I don’t know if girl’s puberty is the right place for this topic, but I can see it fits anywhere else, and I guess I want the opinion from fellow girls. Moderators can move it if You like.
Here goes:
After my brother moved, my parents have been more outgoing and sexually active. I can hear them.
I don’t know if this is new, but I think they’ve started having more people for sex too. Last weekend I couldn’t sleep, and I went to get a glass of milk, you know as you do, and I met a man I the hallway. I had just heard my mom moaning.
The man was surprised of course and turned red in the face. As did I. He quickly got his shoes on and went out the door. My parents were still in the bedroom, because I could hear them again.
I have no problem with it, so this doesn’t belong in the section for abuse or family issues of some sort.
I just want to know what You think about it?
Do your parents allow them self to act out and enjoy, like mine do?
Would you talk to them about it?
It’s not easy to say now, but I’m not sure I would be against a sex life like that, when I’m older. Who knows. Do you?

My parents still have an active, healthy sex life...and I have heard them as well. It does't bother me, as it usually happened when I had just come home from being out and they weren't aware of my presence in the house. I just go to my room and put on some music, or headphones...that solves that issue. I'm glad that they can still enjoy each other, to me its definitely a sign that they are still in love and care about each other.

As far as talking to your mom and/or both parents about it...I think it all depends on your comfort level with that. I am completely open with my mom and have had several candid discussion about sex with her...but not so much with my dad. It just all depends on where you stand with them in the regard.

Well, my parents fuck like rabbits lol, so yeah I've heard them before. In fact, I hear them most nights that I'm at home. I'm very used to it by now, like they're used to me when I have someone over I guess :P. A noisy family indeed.

We don't talk about it because there's really nothing to talk about, but very often we make jokes about the noise, specially between me and my mom during breakfast.

I'm pretty sure they're still active, but thankfully I haven't had the "pleasure" of hearing them.

I can't usually hear my parents having sex when I'm at home, but I have walked in on them (in the living room, no less, just going at it), and breakfast the next morning was very awkward, and we're a pretty open family. Some things you just never want to see. (I'm not going to go into details here, but I was impressed and more than a little disturbed)

Yes I think so. That was my general question. How would you guys feel about knowing your parents are swingers?

I think they are okay with it. I've told them I'm not a virgin anymore and that was fine. And they say it's okay to bring boyfriends over. I guess that's that then :-)
