This is mostly for bisexuals, what do you think is keeping you from only liking guys or only liking girls?

...Because I like them for different reasons? I highly doubt that I'll ever just 'go straight' or 'go gay' for a few reasons.
I have the ability to be sexually attracted to both, I have the ability to develop friendships with both, I have the ability to develop romantic relationships with both, I have the ability to find both attractive. There's not just one particular trait that either gender (or any gender, for that matter) has that I'm attracted to, what I find attractive has to do with things any human can possess. Like maturity, responsibility, a good sense of humor. I am attracted to both aesthetically to some extent as well, but I'm attracted to personality over all.

I don't think anything is keeping me from that.

Because, "going" straight or gay. would imply that human beings have some semblance of control over their sexuality. We don't.

Both Ren and Donald summed it up pretty nicely; for me I like what I like or I like no one. I certainly see the point you are trying to make, some people go from bi-sexual to gay because they discovered wow I really like my own sex (same sex) not the opposing, but not so much in the reverse thats more being bicurious. I hope I make sense.

The only thing I'm struggling with right now is.. I don't want to close any doors because I still don't know. I KNOW I like guys, A LOT, but I really don't know what I feel about girls because obviously I can develop friendships with them AND have a slight attraction but unlike with guys that isn't serious at all and I have my mum to blame for that, I don't like the way some guys are treated in relationships by girlfriends because I know a lot of people in straight relationships who have had problems... my friend in college I'm attracted to recently said to me the problem he has with his girlfriend is that if they don't have sex for 3 days in a row they start to have arguments and she starts being a bitch to him, I wouldn't want that. I think if I get into a relationship... if it's with a guy, hopefully sex would be a part of it and I really like the thought of that, but only after we've been in a relationship for a while and I imagine if I was with a woman I wouldn't be, I feel hardly anything and I've tested in the past... I watched straight porn before, it made my erections go down yet gay porn makes them go up. :D :D
Basically I'm not sure but I definitely like guys a lot more :)

Because no matter what sexuality you are, you are born that way. You can pretend to change and be in denial but that doesn't actually change who you are. I'm gay by the way not bi, but I do understand.

To be fair, so are guys. I have some experience with both sets of parts.
Also think that vaginas are way over-stigmatized. Good fucking grief. Penises and testicles are fairy weak. Vaginas get to pop out babies five times their size. Give 'em some credit. Vaginas are fucking metal.

Haha that's true, they are tough despite the fact that guys use it as a derogatory term, I agree, they don't nearly egg enough credit for the shit that happens to them
