It's my senior year in high school. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and I have no idea where to go with this. I can't go through pregnancy, I have too much at risk if I do. But abortion isn't appealing to me either. I'm stuck.

If you can’t go through pregnancy but also can’t get an abortion. Then that leaves you with zero possibilities. You need to pick one. It will be hard but there aren’t any other options. Also Idk if u told anyone, but make sure it’s ur decision.

There are so very many couples out there who want a baby and cannot conceive. Yes, a High School pregnancy will be challenging at first but something you'd be strong enough to deal with. You need to talk with your parents, a school counselor or someone else who is mature and objective. Yes, it will be intimidating to talk to your parents about this but you're their daughter and they love you. After you've brought this precious baby into the world you could be a Godsend to a couple struggling with conception and give them the family they've always wanted to have. Hugs, J

Sorry to hear you’re going through this. I would definitely recommend going to a clinic or doctor about this. You’re still in the early stages of pregnancy, and you still have options. As tough as a decision it is, you can abort, or if you do end up going through with the pregnancy, you can give it up for adoption. These options result in not having a child, which is a perfectly valid option, as you’re still young and you may not want or be able to support one right now.

If you go through with the pregnancy and keep the child, it will also not be easy. Again, you’re young, and apparently have a lot to risk, but you’ll be raising your child out of it, and I’m sure you will have the support of your family behind you.

In future cases, with whichever option you choose, please practice safe sex using condoms and birth control. These things not only prevent pregnancy, but the transfer of STD’s and STI’s.
