I dating a girl of 14 while I'm 16 years old. But friends find her too young but not me. Do you find that weird?

People have asked this question before. I think the only thing that matters is how do the two of you get along? Do you have things in common? Are you compatible? Are the maturity levels similar? Are her parents ok with it?
A 2 year age difference can be huge or not matter. You have to answer for yourself.

I'm 15 and date girls from 12 to 19, and everything depends on the maturity level of the two people involved. 2 years is probably not going to be very significant. The issues arise if you start having sex and one of you is below the age of consent in your area and the other is above it.

Nah. She'll catch up in no time, don't worry about it.

Its possible for the two of u to date as
long as u don't pressure her in doing
something she is not ready for. I for
one think she is too young but that is
for u to answer.

You're only two years different. Whats wrong with that? date her if you both want to. I would.

To be honest, you're dating her, not your friends! So the only thing to matter is what you feel, and not what your friends think!
Hope it works out for you

No offense intended what-so-ever but girls usually mature faster than boys anyway and in the first place, there isn't a big age difference between 14 yr old and a 16 yr old. I'm 19 and my BF is 21. We stared dating when I was 15 and he was 17. Keep in mind though that in some states (unless they have a "Romeo & Juliet Law) you could get in trouble for having sex with her. The age of consent in some states is as low as 16 but in other states it's as high as 18 so be careful. If you two DO plan on having sex, look up your states age of consent laws on Google.

In school it may seem weird. If a Year 11 went out with a Year 6, that's about 6 years difference but in later life when both have finished school it doesn't seem as weird and is completely normal.

Depends on maturity, I guess.

I think 2 years is ok but more than that is too much
(at least when we are teens)

I dont think a couple years is a problem at all!

A 2 year difference is not weird. It's weird that your friends think it is and they make a fuzz instead of supporting you
