I'm 17, in senior year of high school. I want to commit suicide, but I don't know where to start.

I considered doing it many times during the last year, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. But now that I don't have to take everything too seriously, other than my workload, I can take my time to prepare both emotionally and physically, no matter what it includes.

Any idea on where to start?

Fiy, I will skip the answers that merely try to convince me of the contrary, in any form.

I would start by getting help first. Maybe see if there is anything they can do to help you, even if its therapy once a week or prescription antidepressants. Even that will help you feel better than you currently do, and death is the worst outcome with the worst feeling at all.

Don't suicide. Do you care about your family? Your friends? Your death will affect them greatly. There will always be people who care about you and your death will hurt them.

Let's start by addressing what makes you feel depressed the most. What is the number one thing that puts you down the most?

Personally, I have felt that motivating myself, giving a shit and focusing on something take my mind away from depression.

I know that strategy may not work for everyone.

You should talk to your family about suffering from depression and seeking professional help. Hopefully, they are understanding.
