It's not something I ever mention on VT, but I am a huge creepypasta fan and I write them.
I have a couple published on the CreepyPasta wiki, which had some positive feedback!

Creepypasta can be great, some are really scary too. I've never written my own but I used to read a lot of creepypasta, not so much anymore. I didn't stop for a particular reason, I just gradually lost interest in it I guess. I still like it though.

"The idea behind Zalgo is that he/she/it represents corruption. Corruption of innocence, corruption of normality, corruption of the world as we know it, the list goes onbut you get the idea. Zalgo is the embodiment of that which is right decaying grotesquely into something very wrong, it can see you if you know too much, and while it is held behind a threshold, the barrier is growing weaker while Zalgo is growing stronger, and it has its fair share of twisted human sycophants in this realm, ready to do its dark will in our world either for their own gain, or some higher, more sinister goal. He Waits Behind The Wall, in a palace of tortured glass, served by legions forged from the tears of the sleepless dead and clad in armor carved from the suffering of mothers. The hivemind that confounds the living, and perpetuates the dead. He takes the eyes, the windows to one's soul, and removes the ability to feel...anything but pain. Six of his mouths speak in different tongues. When the time is right, the seventh shall sing the song that ends the Earth. To invoke the hivemind represents chaos.
