gym's and saunas

So i have decided to work out finally and found an amazing gym, which has sauna also.

it feels reaaly nice to be in the sauna after the workout and shower, but do i have to be naked in there? i am really afraid to get hard cuz im bi, so like
what would you do?

No, not one sauna nor shower requires complete nudity ( you can go in swimwear) only it will raise quite looks from someone, because it's quite unusual for a 18yo to be ashamed and hide in swimwear. In sauna you certainly don't need to be naked but in showers, probably ( if you are going to showers straight after workout). Full hardon also can raise questions and some peaks, semi-hard is fully understandable... You should control your sexual manners in the showers too - don't get horny from looking on other guys, like, you have never seen a dick before... Keep calm and just do your bussiness..

Where I'm from, it's perfectly acceptable just to wear a towel around your waist which is what most guys do I think. I've gone into saunas naked with friends but if strangers or older guys are in there I would put a towel on.

I've seen guys in the showers that wear their gym shorts or swim trunks especially the younger guys. It's a bit odd sometimes because they'll wash their junk inside their shorts, looks kind of awkward. Plus you'd still need to get naked afterwards to dry off and get changed. But I think you need to do whatever makes you feel comfortable. Like others have said, there's no rule that you must be naked in the showers at a gym.

Unless you are in a nudist/naturist community, being naked is not required in saunas, steam rooms, etc.

I assume that we are talking about single sex saunas/ steam rooms.

Some guys will wear a towel in saunas. Me, I go in naked and sit on a towel for sanitation.

I think it is really silly to take a shower in a swim suit. Everyone takes nude showers here.

Most guys just wear a towel or swimwear at my local gym steam room.

I took a trip to Europe w/ my cousin this summer though, and totally didn't know the saunas were mixed guys and girls + completely nude. As in you are not allowed to wear a swimsuit. Pretty embarrassing carrying on a conversation with girls when you're both naked and they can see your tiny penis :whoops:

Just wear a towel and you'll be fine. You don't have to be nude at a sauna but some guys do it

I think most gyms have their own rules. In my gym, the rules mean you have to wear either your gym shorts or proper swimming gear (board shorts or trunks) in the sauna and steam rooms. Normal underwear and nudity is not allowed.

It depends on your local culture.
In central Europe it is common to be nude and sit on a towel, even wit male and femals together
In northern Europe mal and females are seperated, but the go naked and sit even without a towel and drink beer ;-)
in Canada I only saw saunas with swimwear.

I don't know the local culture at your place... but would like to hear and extend my knowledge. In private it should be fine to go naked, my opinion

In Europe you have to stay naked in the Sauna!
Because of it´s very unhygienic to be covered!

There is a sauna at the gym my family belongs to. Each locker room has its own sauna so there are only men in there when I go in. Most wear towels over their laps but some don't. But it is usually so steamy in there that I cannot see anything anyway.

I always go naked if I get hard it doesn’t really matter to me, as long as you do not start stroking nobody should say anything bc they shouldn’t be looking. Once you get used to it they will stop happening

You don't need to be naked, you can wear a towel or swimming stuff, although some places (mostly spa's) require nudity. Personally I always go nude in the sauna because I find it more comfortable
