I take adhd meds and i’m 15 and almost 6 feet.

Interesting because my cousin just turned 11 and he started puberty early.
My mom said his behavior issues are because of early puberty and that's one of the reasons hes on ADHD medication.

That doesen’t make sense. If he has bad behavior because of puberty, they wouldn’t give him adhd meds. Does he have adhd?

He definitely acts up and is overly hyper

I know that the medication he takes is called Adderall.

I was on that for a year, when I was around 10, and didn't like it at all. I was acting up, hyper, and a bunch of other things as well. But I did exceptionally well in school when the teachers could keep me in my seat, or inside the classroom. I would literally wander through the hallways during class time.

I think it actually made me feel worse rather than improving my behavior. Fortunately after other examinations and testing they concluded that I needed a different sort of medicine as ADHD was not my main diagnosis and they felt I was better served by treating the emotional issues with appropriate drugs for those.

IDK if it affected my puberty or not. I started my period shortly after my 11th birthday but didn't get pubic hair till around age 13 and still have zero breast development. But I've been told by several doctors that my lack of boobs is almost certainly genetic and not affected by any of the meds I've been given.

My 11 year old sister also has adhd, and she just started puberty.

I agree with Ben above. It makes no sense. A lot
of teens and pre-teen starting puberty may have
behavior or moody probs cause of the start of the
release of hormones. Doesn't mean that they have
ADHD.

Also Ben said he has ADHD and is 6 ft. tall.
My Dad said that taking ADHD meds during
puberty MAY cause stunted growth.

Just saying my cousin is on the medication and my mom said it was because of early puberty and his Hyperactivity.
