Do young people now have bigger penises?

Recently, I saw my nephew hanging out in underwear. He is only 9 years old and his bulge surprised me. He seemed to have a 3.5" soft penis, I was born in 2002, and I have the impression that everyone who is born after me will usually have a bigger penis. To support my comments: I give some swimming lessons to young people aged 13 to 14. I change with them before and after training and 15 students, there must be 3 who are smaller or equal to me.The others are on average 4-4.5" soft (I am 2.4" soft.) Am I the only one to have noticed that?

I don't think that overall penis sizes have changed. You are dealing with a group and I think any time that you get a group of guys together that you are going to notice size differences like you did. I think that would be true of a sampling of any age group.

Younger guys have more testosterone and faster blood flow,that's reason behind it.
As you age,your natural T levels decrease starting from age of 24.On average your T levels reach their peak when you're 18.

Things can change over time. People finishing growing (in height) today are, on average, taller than their parents generation. So, something similar could happen with penis size but I doubt anyone has studied it properly. I am also not sure what difference you would see in about ten years, i.e. the ten years from 9, the youngest age you mention, and 19, the last year of being a teen.

There is a trend for puberty to start earlier so that would also account for people being bigger at a younger age than someone who is older would have been at the same age, but the same applies; I don't know how much of that effect you would see over ten years.

So, maybe what you're seeing is younger people "catching up" in the same way that an older brother can be used to being taller than his younger brother, because he is further along with his growth, and then he stops growing and his younger brother may continue and end up taller than he is. The same thing can obviously happen with penis size.

Funny u say that, my 16 y/o bro is also quite big compared to me( hes 4.5 " soft and im 2") and also my cousins (theyre 12,14 and also 3-4" soft)

It would not surprise me. In 1870, average height size of an adult man was 1m62. Since it climbed to 1m75. So it may be the same for penis size

Sounds right. I changed with some boys at the beach this summer and noticed they were at least 4in soft like me.

I have seen my little brother (he's 12) and a couple of his friends' penises and most of them seem to have bigger penises than me when I was their age. I don't know what is the phenomenon why they seem to be bigger than me. Maybe it's better hormones that are better or nutrition is better too.

usually your penis looks smaller to you because you look at it from above.
When you look at other guys, you watch theirs from the side, so it looks bigger.
Watch yourself in a mirror (which is the way other guys see you), you will see that that your penis is not that small :P

I don't think it's a massive change, but there have been several studies that show the average size has increased over the last 50 years or so

Not sure... I’m 13 and I’m tiny soft (1.5-2”) I’m 3.5-4 hard my friend who I called my BF is similar in size. We still see each other’s parts even though we don’t have sex anymore. (We have wanked together since)

I know a guy at school who is a year younger and he’s bigger like 4” soft (I didnt measure but just from a glance at the urinals , I bet he’s over 6” hard)

yeah, if you got a larger group or even the same sample size just with different people of the same age you'd notice you could be bigger than them.

I'm probably not a good example because my family seems pretty well hung in general: I'm 17, 8.3 erect and 5.5 soft. I sincerely think that my 10 year old brother is an exception because he is a little longer than 5 soft

I see a lot of guys in gym class with different shapes and sizes. Were all different and I think some guys might have a larger looking penis because their body hasn't grown to full adult size.
