Wearing a 'jock strap' all day

So today was the first day I wore my jock strap for the first time all day today. I was wondering if any other guys where in the same position as me? I'm bi but don't consider myself "super gay".

Not all day, but I have sometimes for sports (i.e. for soccer I use/have used a cup, so I sometimes wore a jock strap to keep the cup in place). But even this is only occasionally cause you don't really need a jock strap to hold a cup in place, I have found that underwear on its own is usually good enough.

I don't or haven't ever worn a jock strap "all day" though, nor as a replacement for underwear. Also, I don't know that wearing one is considered "gay" either. My opinion is that it isn't. At least for my part, I've always considered the use of jock straps to be associated with athletic activities but that may be just me.

I own a few pairs of jockstraps, and wear them from time to time all day. I personally find them quite sexy, so that’s why I got them in first place.
I don’t think that they are necessarily gay, but some “macho”/stereotypical straight guy, who hasn’t come in contact with such garment might think that, because of the open butt area.

I would agree with that. There great for sports and gym and yea the regular style jock can be nice all day as long as its not too tight. I wear mine pretty often and quite a few sport guys wear them .. no yea there cool , def. not gay or anything..

Same kinda deal here... I've only had one on all day if I was out doing sports and then went straight to doing something else, didn't change clothes and stuff. It's more of a sports equipment kinda thing for me.

I feel like if you’re talking about one you’d wear for PE or sports, it’s not gonna be comedotable where you’d wanna wear it all day long... or like I feel like it almost shouldn’t be. Like it’s supposed to be pretty tight so your junk stays in place. That’s not what I’m lookin for for hanging out all day!

My brother has worn one for sports; he said he's worn it all day before, but he was probably just doing it because he was lazy or just to see what it was like. I don't think it would make a very comfortable replacement for underwear lol

I wore my jockstrap all yesterday, didn't feel wear lol. Just underwear.. BUT the strap was starting to cause a rash burn sorta after wearing it for so many hours. Not bad, but still some discomfort.

Yea same here boxer briefs, but for summer gear a jock is great especially if your sports involve a lot of running.

At lot of gays around here wear jocks, like the underwear kind not an athletic jockstrap. I wore one in junior high for baseball. Now I mostly wear compressions for sports.

Yea not too bad if its one of the more comfortable fashion ones, but I prefer the athletic . There a lot tighter and more supportive , so about half a day has been my max . Compression shorts I really don't like

I love how athletic jock straps look, in a sensual way. I'm on the fence about going back to using one for sports. Compressions are versatile. You can wear them for work outs, for sports, and undies.

I wear them all the time and find them awesome now that I have gotten use to them. Prefer either the Duke pro or the Gym brand .. so comfortable. In the winter I sometimes wear loose compression shorts over my jock. I love how they feel too. Several wear one in my gym so its cool.

My dad bought me Bike for baseball when I was 11. I was too embarrassed to wear it at first, but I got used it.

Yea, I wear the reg non cup style. Just the supporter jock. Wearing one with the cup would be so brutal. There are two different styles.

Definitely try them. I got pretty use to wearing a athletic wideband after a few weeks of doing basketball and cross country. Really makes running a whole lot better.. and they feel awesome !

It depends on what you mean by jock strap. There is the underwear type of “jockstrap” that isn’t a real sports jock strap - that kind is just for looks. (Sometimes gay guys (especially the dominating role) like those because it puts emphasis on the butt cheeks and keeps the front parts hidden and up out of the way.)

You can tell the difference because the underwear type of jockstrap has a thin elastic band - and usually requires a thicker wallet! Those can be real expensive if you look at certain brands.

The other kind is of course a real sports jock strap. It has a thick elastic waist band and a more padded front pouch. It’s kind of uncomfortable if you wear this all day but I have done it before like if I had practice or a game that afternoon and knew that I wasn’t going to have enough time to change after school.

Thank you for your explanation. I saw pictures of jockstraps on the website. The stores in my area only had kind of briefs, trunks, and boxers. I don't know why they don't sell them in here. I found it to be so sexy.

No., it is suppose to be worn without underwear and is open in back to help keep you cool in sports. Very comfortable after you get use to them.

yea I wore one a few times all day for similar injury. Not the most comfortable but really helped my injury from groin sprain playing basketball.

I think it depends on the brand or style. I wear one with a cup for baseball and can't wait to take it off, but I have another one made of softer material that I wear for other sports and it's pretty comfortable to wear all day and much cooler.

They fit really nice once you get the right size which is based on waistband. Should fit snug but not not super tight . At least that is for athletic jocks and not fashion. Pretty un comfortable for all day wearing unless you have no other choice doing multiple practices.

Yea only a few times have I worn all day. I really only wear jocks for sports . Seems to make a difference in better support and mobility running over compression shorts. That's the greatest advantage
