Hi
So recently I got in contact with a friend I fell out with in 2016.
We both apologised to each other and actually missed each other quite a lot, however now she leaves me on read most of the time and it's starting to make me feel like I look desperate and clingy.
I'm thinking of just leaving her until she starts a conversation with me now... is that smart?

Well r u desperate? I think that since
u got in touch with her and u both said
u were sorry leave it go at that. If she
wants to answer u she will if not then
maybe the sorry was not taken too
much at heart. Don't leave her til u
know for sure that she might not
want to rekindle ur friendship. If u
want to y not ask her what she has
been up to all this time. Tell her u
missed her friendship.

I've tried most things... asked what she's been up to, told her I've missed it, asked to meet up etc and she agrees with everything. But she just doesn't seem to care as much

I think that if your friend is not responding to you, then your friendship is on ice and really is not going anywhere. I would not put too much more effort into the friendship especially if your friend is not responding in a positive way. Her words are one thing but her actions speak volumes about her doing other things.
I would not waste your time on this person, and you need to be around people who genuinely value you for being just the way you are and not someone who clearly only wants to interact with you on her terms.
