How to get a guys attention? (For a gay guy)

So I'm gay and there's this guy at school who I like but I'm not sure he's gay or not and I really want to get his attention and I don't really know how.

In my opinion, even though i am not gay, you should just tell him how you feel. If he denies you, it's ok. Same as if you were asking a girl :)

Sadly he has a girlfriend but partly luckily for me he said they were having problems and that they might end up breaking up with eachother but I don't really think I'd be the kind of person to jump in on him no matter how much I'd like to because of some stupid social problems I don't know how to sort out. He's started acting a lot nicer to me since I told him though, although I partly think this is because people always think they have to be nicer to people with disabilities (which is good for me :D).

find out what hobbies he likes to pursue and invite him to do something based on that. example: say he likes to watch movies, invite him to the movies.
