Got a girl pregnant

So my best mate just told me that a girl he had sex with two weeks ago missed her period and is pregnant.

He seems okay and he isn't freaking out (at least not showing it) and i told him it was all okay and would work out.

I just wanna know what you'd say/do if your mate tells you what I was told. Not just when you're told, but what you would do in the days/weeks afterwards.

don't joke about getting girls pregnant. it's already for the fathers - they can just piss off or have nothing to do with it. we're the ones who have to push something out of our wombs, get an abortion or leave school.

At least things worked out with your friend, and it is good he is not a father prematurely.

If he was going to be a father, then I would say the best thing to do is to ask him how you could help. Chances are a person in that kind of situation would need help with babysitting, getting things for the baby, etc. The best you can do in that situation is help out your friend with the kid.

Since your friend did not get the girl pregnant, then just make sure that you encourage him to make responsible choices by not having sex unprotected, having sex drunk, and making sure that he and his partner know where to get Plan B if they have a problem.
