Feeling like I'm on the edge of something...

Recently, I went to the cardiologist and found out that

A. I'm in fact NOT going to die and

B. It's safe for me to do things by myself, but I need to watch myself

So now I have freedom...But I'm also looking at going back to work. To be totally honest, I'm TERRIFIED.

However, I feel like I HAVE to...

I'm so in between euphoria, terror, depression. I only found out the news on Thursday, and I'm still all over the place with my mood. I got to see my boyfriend for the first time in two months yesterday and the day before, which was AMAZING, but I'm just not doing good overall. Or I'm doing SUPER good. It's strange.

Any reason this would be happening??

What I can tell you is that I kinda understand what you mean. A great deal of new stuff seemed to have happened and it's a bit overwhelming.

I'm always horryfied, hyper and depressed at the same time when I'm on some kind of crossroads, and that's what it sounds like to me. The thing about your health issues and going back to work, I mean.

I'm not exactly sure if I'm having a mixed episode (manic and depressive) or what, but it's just been getting worse.

However, my parents have recently begun to take my mental health more seriously, and I'm going to start working for them, as opposed to going back to work, so I think things MIGHT start getting a little better...

Sort of. I just don't want any manic episodes.

So far they're not doing much, but they have helped a little. Going back to the doctor's on Friday, hopefully to up the dose.

What kinds of meds did your doctor prescribe you? Just interested as my doctor what's to give me meds, too but my father refuses cuz he thinks these meds would be harmful for me.

I'm on Depakote, 250mg. They're gonna up my dose on Friday, most likely. No negative side effects so far.
