Yes given how ocd I am about my hygeine, I take time to wash my middle region as much as possible. Heck I even use shampoo if anything as well for extra sanitizing strength, especially on my foreskin.

And I shampoo/soap at least 3-5 times, it's our most moist and dirtiest region really so nothing wrong with taking some time to strengthen your cleaning routine on the middle area. One of the few reasons I started sleeping naked had to do with this actually, so that my genitals and pelvis could get more air and breathing space.

I have always paid extra attention to those areas making sure they are perfectly clean, and I like to use shampoo and conditioner on my pubic hair while showering.

I have serious OCD issues as well, but not involving washing or hygiene.

Sleeping without anything on in that area def promotes health by being exposed to room air overnight.

Every time I shower I'll not only wash all those parts with a soapy hand but I'll then push a soapy finger in my hole, maybe close to 2 inches, wiggle it around to get myself completely clean inside and out, and then power-wash my anus with the hand-held shower set on hard spray. Sometimes if I have the time at home I'll jump in the shower and wash my anus just like this right after doing #2. (If we had a bidet I would definitely like it and use it.)

i usually just give everything a good rinse in the shower - it's not advisable o use ANY soaps as they upset the pH of your genitals (well, for girls anyway).

Well I do wash all those parts pretty thoroughly, although maybe not quite as OCD as you :) ... plus I'd say you'd want to be careful about washing your foreskin too much (obviously wash it) so you don't dry the skin out

I wash up about the same as Scott, and I have also jumped in the shower if I did not feel clean enough. My Dad taught me and my brother when we were little how important it is to keep those areas clean. That guys tend to smell there more if were sweaty and not properly clean and that we would smell bad.

My dad taught me, too, when I was about 8 or 9. We were showering together and he told me to soap up my hand and "push you finger in there and wiggle it around to get it nice and clean." I'll admit it was freaky that first time, but ever since, I clean my butt that way every time I shower (but not when I shower at school!)

Um, of course I wash those parts... who wouldn’t? I care about hygiene a lot. I used to use the bathroom before I showered in order to be more clean, before we installed a bidet... J can’t understand how someone could just use paper after that. I take the time in the shower to wash the anus—no need to stick a finger in as some do, but it helps me feel better and more secure—and clean under the foreskin and all the rest as well. Whenever I shower at school I do the same... no-one cares if you’re washing your ass, anyway.
