Which of you parents do you get on with most I get on with my dad more, I still get on with my mum but I spend a lot more time with my dad as he takes me to football and other activities and isn’t as strict as my mum is as he lets me have a bet when we go to the football

I've always been closest to my mom on an emotional level, since she's a PhD in behavioral psychology we can have really open and serious talks about anything at all, she's totally not judgmental. Even at 15 I still like to cuddle with her and sometimes sleep together.

While I get along really well with my dad, he's taught me about all sorts of mechanical stuff and we have fun together, that same level of emotional connection that I have with mom isn't quite there. But I also know for sure he has my back in case of any problems.

Mom and dad had been divorced and Dad remarried, therefore I live with Mom and I get along with her so much more then with Dad.

I have a great relationship with both of my parents I love and respect them very much and they love their children unconditionally. My Dad still considers me his "little girl" sometimes and is very protective but he is also very supportive just like my Mom.

I would say I am more comfortable with my mum, but I get on well with both, it's just that I have spent so much more time with my mum overall

Hard to say. I see my mom more since my dad works a lot, but I am close with my dad too.

For activities like going out, music etc, i get on better with dad. But for talking, issues, and shopping mum is at the top

Probably my Dad. I can talk to my mum easier but there's things i know and she can get really strict at times. There's just something about my Dad (dunno what) which is why i prefer him. However i still love both my parents a lot.

Yes..my mom will listen to what I have to say and she always will try to help me out with good advice. She doesn't put me down or is judgmental. My dad, on the other hand, is way more stricter on me and he tends to be judgmental. But he tries to help me out too. It's just the way he goes about doing it that irks me a lot. He likes giving me orders.

I can't choose like that. I do fun stuff with both of them. And I don't give them any reasons to be mad at me. After my brother moved they have been more nice to me and they are thinking about taring the wall down between my room and my brothers old room, to give me more space :-)

In the past i would have said my mum but now its my dad. He is quite strict with me but i think i realised at some point that i appreciate the discipline, at least it shows he cares and doesn't want me to be unruly.
