I don't see why it wouldn't be, particularly if you know who's at the door.

My family are naturists/nudists and all of us have answered the door wearing a lot less.

I answer the door sometimes with no shirt on, sometimes just wearing my boxer briefs and a shirt. Of course if I knew someone was coming to our house, I would wear something much more presentable. I sometimes close the gate of our garage with just my boxer briefs on.

Not a big deal, but also depends on you.

That's probably the safest choice but I'd hope that no one would be offended by a shirtless teenage boy. Of course if it was a group of visiting church ladies your grandma's age, all bets are off. :whoops:

With a boy, that's exactly what I think as well. I guess there might be a very few people that could be offended though. But exactly no one has ever said anything about me opening the door in just my panties, of course I'm still flat chested but it doesn't seem to offend anyone.

I'd personally wear a shirt but if you're comfortable with it and the person at the door isn't too conservative, I don't see any issues.

My older brother has answered the door plenty of times without a shirt on. There's nothing wrong with that. I've answered the door before wearing panties and a tank top. It's no big deal if you're answering the door for friends or your significant other.

I'd think it's extremely rude to whoever it is on the other side of the door, and how awkward they'd feel to have you open the door and you're totally naked! I think most people would be very embarrassed.

I don't see a problem with no shirt - people are not seeing any more than they would at the beach or swimming pool. I don't think you owe callers at your door to be smartly dressed but I think you should be decent, i.e. not wear less than you would in a public place.

As long as your genitals are covered and you are comfortable, then there is nothing wrong with it. People may complain that they see you in your underwear, but there is nothing illegal about it.

I have before. The least clothes I've worn to answer the door was when a delivery guy dropped some stuff off and rung the doorbell while I was in the shower so I was just wearing a towel. That was awkward ahaha
