Well you could wear a wristband, but they can be quite obvious, where I live cutters are practically the only people who wear wristbands. Personally I just wear light long sleeved tops, but you could try a watch with a thick strap too.

I'm in no way encouraging you to continue cutting, but I'm not going to tell you to stop either. As someone who has struggled with this problem for years, I'm going to give you 2 pieces of advice.
1) You can tell someone about your struggle, and try and get some help quitting
2) Don't cut in visible places. I normally did my thighs and stomach, because I don't wear short shorts or bikinis.
I recommend number 1 though. It's hard, but its not impossible. I'm over a year clean.

Agree. I personally don't like self-harming on my arms (though they are the easiest and least comfortable of places in the long-run.) because of visibility. However, as I've said, if nothing else, getting therapy for what's CAUSING it could MAJORLY help you, even if you don't decide to come out with it outright.

I personally never had a problem with showing my self harm injuries, so I can't really give you any personal advice.
When the make up thing does work then stick to it, just remember not to forget it,right?
Or well, as the other's said just try to cut in a place where it's not to be seen..I hardly ever cut my arms, but I won't tell you what I do exactly to encourage you, that would be kinda bad.
The best option you have would be to get help to try to quit anyway, believe me.
And anyway, your profile says you're in New York, it's so warm there already?? I'm in the deep South and still freezing my balls off at this time of the year and would never wear anything short sleeved without a jacket, lol.
