It's easy to feel like you're the only one, but I promise you, you're not. I've felt this way too and know others who get frustrated because they can't cry despite being sad. Sometimes crying is an outlet for emotions and it can be quite relieving... but just because you don't cry doesn't mean you're not sad, or that your feelings are less real. We all express our feelings differently, so don't think you have to do it. Also, the more you consciously try to, the less likely you will. Depression is hell - we're all here for you though, don't forget that.

This happened to me for a little while. I was ashamed to cry because of the stupid reasons for it. Don't hold whatever you have in. Let it all out. Whatever you might be doing or wherever you are. Once I accepted my emotions, It was easier for me to cry.

Letting out the emotions your feeling doesn’t need actual tears to come out. You can still cry, without tears. It seems just a way your body deals with the emotions your feeling. I think when we’re lottle kids we have less control over our emotions. And as we grow up, we don’t cry as much. Crying with tears that is. You’ll still be able to vent those feeling in other ways. I haven’t cried in years. Tbh I don’t even think I cried at my dads funeral. But...I worked out those bad feelings in other ways.....not always good ways, so choose those channels well so you don’t get yourself in a jam like I did so many times
