Haircuts and shaves

Hi,

I joined the air cadets once and when I did they shaved my head and shaved my pubes. It wasn't nice as I was strapped to a chair and stripped in front of the rest of the troops.

Has anyone else had this done?

I am by no means an expert in the field of Indian Air Force training methods but my guess is the others had that done to them as well

That doesn't sound like a true story. I can see a buzz haircut but not shaving pubes or strapping you down while giving you a haircut. I am sure it would be against your rights to strap you down and shave you.

I agree, I did some research and I found things on buzz cuts but nothing to do with pubes

The haircut part sounds normal and makes sense.

The being tied down and pube shaving bit is not normal. If that part actually happened, you should report it to someone as it is not ok.

Yeah honestly a few of your posts ago you said you just started puberty and now you’re in the air force and with pubes? This doesn’t add up

I can see shaving your head but I don’t think that they strapped up and shaved your pubes.

Speaking from experience and being a SNCO myself (British air cadets) I can tell you what they did was something called hazing or an initiation which strictly isn’t allowed, since you aren’t being enlisted in the regular services they cannot change your hair or body hairstyle in any way but can recommend hairstyles to you to conform with their protocols
