View Full Version : Girls, how often does this happen?

Ok, so I was discussing with my sister that once she was asked to get into a car when walking to a gym. I (being naturally protective and older) inquired and she said that she’s had a few people do it before. The puberty part comes in after she said that she was wearing a sports bra and workout gear.

My questions are:

What is your cup size?: [To see if cat calling happens once you surpass a size that guys deem big]
Have you been catcalled before?:

I am not being creepy but I want to know how often this happens since I don’t want anyone coming into contact with these people.

Thanks

Once, but it was by a boy I know from school. I'm still pretty flat chested at 15 and only an A cup, so I don't think that enters into it. I was wearing a sports bra and my short shorts while running through town and he commented that I had a nice butt........ well that wasn't the word he used, but that's what got his attention so it's not always all about boobs. And I'm not small, currently 180 pounds.

You are perfectly fine, even if you’re 180 lbs, I used to be 189 but I practically abused myself. You’re fine just the way you are. And thanks for the comment!

I'm learning to be OK with my weight, as it's due to the meds I'm on for emotional issues so nothing can be done about it. :)

But my point is that even a chubby average looking girl might still get that sort of attention from a boy who sees something he likes. It's not just the really pretty girls with great figures who get comments shouted at them, or attempts to pick them up.

I'm a guy but I don't think bra size has anything to do with it. Bored guys who are jerks and/or looking to be "funny" and looking for attention will pretty much do anything when driving by a girl or girls or boys. Guys will cat call ugly girls tbh. Definitely flat chested and big. Guys are just basically stoopid when in cars lol.

Also just an FYI a guy cat calling and a guy telling a girl to "get into a car" is two TOTALLY different things!!!!! Girls (and guys) should NEVER get into a strangers car!!!

Even so, thanks for your feedback

Thanks for the reply and to others reading, the only reason I asked for people’s cup size is cause guys (normally) are attracted to boobs.

I had that discussion with several boys I know, and with my dad. Not all guys are attracted to boobs the most, there are other things that get their attention. My boyfriend and my dad both say they know other guys that are attracted to butts, legs, and specific hair colors like redheads. My boyfriend is def a butt boy, as I'm nearly flat chested.......and so is my dad, as my mom isn't even an A cup and has never owned or worn a bra in her entire life.

If boobs were the main criteria for a guy liking a girl, how do you explain the millions of A-cup and B-cup women who are married? If that logic were true, then most guys wouldn't be interested in dating a girl who was smaller on top let alone being married to one. My boyfriend says anything bigger than about a C-cup is a def turnoff for him but the fuller that a girl's hips and thighs are, the better. :)

I don't get out much but I have guys twice my age hit on me on social media when they clearly know how old I am. Kinda flattering, I enjoy trolling people like that, telling them I am reporting them to the FBI cyber crimes and other stuff, it's entertainment for me!. I have freaked so many people out! But they deserve it for hitting on a minor and asking for nudes/sending me theirs without my consent.

I’ve been approached while out with friends, and hit on by guys that I know are at least ten years older than me. It’s incredibly creepy and I don’t like it at all. I don’t think the size of my chest has anything to do with it because those kinds of perverts just get off on the idea of sex with someone that much younger than they are

Definitely! Some guys will be assholes regardless of what the girl looks like, just to get a reaction from her and usually to "look cool" in front of their mates.

Girls regularly get cat called irregardless of their cup size. Even more so irregardless of the amount of skin they are (or aren’t) showing.

I’ve been told that I was showing “too much skin” with a loose-fitting vest and mid-length shorts in hot weather as well as being told I should “show more skin” when wrapped up in winter.

People with a normal resting face (i.e. going about their lives) will get told to smile more, or as I got told the other week, “smiling is sexier”.

People will come up with just about anything that THEY think comes across as a compliment, when in fact it’s just creepy and uncomfortable. Bonus points if it’s on public transport or a situation where they’re alone and the catcaller is in a group with others.

I would say it happens a lot in my area, but only if I’m alone (which is often, when I commute to and from working). I know of girls who go out of their way to avoid public areas or avoid being alone to avoid being catcalled, it’s embarrassing for them.

i've never been catcalled, but i live in the countryside, and frequently have to deal with weird old farmers in their muddy jeeps driving around - mostly, they stare at you as they pass by (this happened once badly when i was out walking wearing a tight top with no bra) but last summer, one odd guy stopped and started talking to myself and my sister, who were wearing short shorts. the guy asked our names, where we live, etc. - i know he wasn't a stalker or anything, but it was still pretty pedophilic.

It happens when boys are in a group and they are insecure and want attention to themselves.

A girl's cup size has nothing to do with a boy's or man's poor behavior. Yes, I've been cat called and so have my friends with smaller breasts than I have. The size of a girls boobs have NOTHING to do with it.

never happened to me, but i have guys say some pretty creepy things just talking to them. worse are some guys in the internet; they can get turned on by some pretty strange things. i 'm sure there are some girls out there that like the same things too.

I get catcalled almost daily but it has nothing to do with cup size.

I've been catcalled and harassed since I was 12. Cup size has absolutely nothing to do with it...though in my case it certainly has not helped. It is entirely to do with toxic masculinity and all that shit.

it happens to me sometimes and i don't think it is solely because of my chest size
