Ok. Spring Break is next week and mom tells me and my little sister we are going to a nudist place in south texas Saturday. She says there is a pool and a beach there. And we will be staying in a camper. I haven't been seen by anyone naked since I was maybe 5. Not even my mom. Has anyone ever been to one of these places?

Boys: What if I get hard in front of people? I have had a few in the morning.

Girls: Do girls check out the boys?

Anyone: I have not really started puberty yet. Will the other kids talk about me? Any advice.

Boys quite often get erections in the morning (also called "morning wood") - that is quite normal.
At 13 , there is a real mix of boys from the well developed that started early, right through to boys that nave no development (and won't even start for another year or two. Other boys will talk, but about the experience as a whole, so just join in if they do.

If you are not a nudist family, it's a bit strange that out of the blue your mother wants to go there. Did you ask her why? If you don't have pubes yet it would be less awkward as you'd be seen as a kid.

Never been to one. I don't think we have them up here.

I wonder how boys rub on sun block without getting hard? LOL

Anyway, I would just treat it like any other situation. You are a boy and there is a chance you might get hard depending on who else is around. There will probably be other boys around and if it happens to you then chances are it will happen to them if it already hasnt. People probably just ignore it though.

As for girls, it would be strange if they didn't look. I would look at everyone but just to see what other people look like, not in a sexual way.

Also, it sounds like this isn't your hometown, so chances are you won't know anyone and won't ever meet them again. Hope that helps.

Nudist camps are great because they're about the only acceptable place where you can get a natural tan without tanlines where your bikini (or in your case, shorts) were, haha.

But seriously you shouldn't get embarrassed if you do become hard. It'll happen to every male there, I can guarantee.

If they have a pool there, use it as often as possible. Apparently men lose their boners pretty easy in cold water.

I guess it depends on what mood people are in if they decide to "check people out" or not? I've always seen nudist camps, beaches etc. as a chance just to let it all hang out and feel the freedom, not a place of sexual arousal over those around you, but I guess there's nothing stopping you from doing that if you want...

Don't feel dumb. Places like this are rare, and very small % of populous use them.

Yeah that's kinda unusual to suddenly be going full nudist for the first time ever. Usually people at those places are used to it at home so it's nbd to them. Personally would not be negatively effected by it and would not care if I was seen with erection at a place like that. It's like if anyone was looking, I'm 13 and in puberty what do you expect? I doubt anyone would be surprised or care.

I've been to places like this before relax you'll be fine If you get the odd boned just cover up with a towel. It might be a bit awkward at first if your not used to being nude around others but it won't take long for you to relax and enjoy yourself.

I have also been to a few. Yes, you will get unexpected erections, but so will every other guy. Everyone knows about teen boys & erections, it is part of the daily routine. As suggested above, just cover up with a towel & wait for it to subside. I am 15 & a bit of a late bloomer. I have found it mandatory to masturbate at least 2 times a day (privately) when at a nudist camp. It helps reduce the unexpected erections.

I am also from Texas, & have been to the camp that you will probably be attending. After the initial adjustment to all the nudity, you will have a great time!

Have not been to a nudist camp or resort or even a beach, but would like to try one. My brothers and me swim nude all summer at home when it is just us or with dad. Much nicer than wearing a bathing suit, and no tan lines.

There will most likely be boys your age. Trust me it should be fun.

If you get an erection, just relax and ignore it, it's normal. Most guys shouldn't make fun of the fact that you haven't started puberty...if they are around your age they may have but understand that other of their friends may not of started puberty, yet. If they do, don't be embarrassed just laugh it off and know that your time will come.

How did it go? I've been to a nude beach (technically they are actually "clothing optional"), but me and my friends opted not to go nude. There was a mix of people both clothed and nude. Never saw anyone with an erection and I never even got one. Let's just say that most of the people that go nude aren't exactly Vogue cover material either...lol.

Most of those places are there for people who enjoy being nude and aren't supposed to be sexual at all. I would probably go back by myself and maybe go nude.

Doesn't sound like my kind of thing. Going to a nudist camp sounds weird to me and I would have probably done it when younger in a place with only guys but I don't like the look of women OR a lot of men so there's no way I would now...

I seem to get random erections in college all the time and I don't care because then I have a few minutes of feeling GREAT, the only problem is I can't do anything about it and standing up can be awkward... No big deal :D

You have a great mom. She allow you guys walking around the house first, so you guys won't be uncomfortable in front of each other. My family is nude all the time. We never went to a camp. They are talking about going to Miami Beach so we can be outside with other people. I think that families should be comfortable seeing each other naked. Mine rarely sees me clothed.

We've been nudists for as long as I can remember. That doesn't just involve guests that come over, and sometimes other family members, it also involves going to camps/resorts/other places where nudists congregate.

Nudists are usually mature enough to accept you for you, not what you are. That's sorta the whole point (i know other reasons but for this reply, i'll stick with it) Basically, nudists are the least judgey people I know.

There are a few rules you should consider that nudists places generally have. Some are much more strict than others.

1. Do not gawk. If your sitting back a way and looking around, thats fine. But don't walk up to someone and just stare. Unless its in their face because your talking to them.
2. As a young male, ALWAYS keep a towell with you. Different places have different rules on erections, but ALL of them recommend keeping a towel with you as a male, so if it starts to get hard, you can just flop a towel over yourself and chill until it goes down. (Also, some places that are kid friendly understand that a gust of wind can get a teen going, and usually have a little grace when it comes to that. But please don't go chasing people around with it full mast)
3. Hands to yourself, unless it is family, or someone gives you full consent. If you have been part of this camp for years, everyone knows you, and you have some great friends that you greet with hugs, then go for it. BUT just randomly hugging strangers you've never met, while nude would not go over well.
4. Do not judge. This is probably the most important rule. People are going there to get away from normal daily life. They are there to de-stress, and just relax. Having someone judge them based on their body, is a very horrible thing to do. You will see old people. Fat people. Skinny people. You will see penis's of every shape and size. You'll see boobs of every shape and size. And everyone will have a different amount of hair. If there are other kids, let them take the lead on conversations. Don't just start blurting stuff out "oh, you don't have any hair yet?" for example.

The vacation went good. My mom had always gone by herself. But thought me and my sister should go now too. It wasn't bad. A lot of older people there. That was kind of gross. A lot of families with younger kids. One good thing is I am going to start showering at school now. Not so nervous about how I look. Of course now I have to explain why I have no tan lines. LOL

Thats all good then - but how sunny was it - just seems weird you got a tan this time of year.

I never went to a camp before. But my parents want to go but concern because all we hear is that ther are stalkers, people filming for porn sites, swingers and men on men. Personally, I want to go to a place to have peace of mind and have fun. We go to a secluded part of a lake here, and that all we do, close to a camp.

I've been to a nudist camping/resort quite often in the summer, but I've never ever ever seen something like that. Besides anyone who's being inappropriate would be asked to leave the resort.

Have you been to an American resort? I heard European resorts are nice and none of that stuff that I'd talked about. My mom had a friend over, she just said she went to a new resort and people were doing all type of stuff that shouldn't be, in the open.

I've never been to an American resort, only European ones.

You'd say people who do that kind of stuff would get arrested or at least removed from the resort right?
I mean just because it's a nude resort doesn't mean there are different laws?
Sex in public and all the other stuff you're talking about would still be illegal right?

I know. I guess most people look away or if they do report those people will leave before management or the law comes.

I would love to go to Miami nude beach but I was told that some people still record you. They actually have professional with equipment or supplies to hide cameras. I believe that they should leave have it to get undressed at your car and only have a towel and what you can carry and no bags or purses. This will help non nudists not to look around and having less stuff means less as areas one can hide a camera.

My family and some friends go to a local place at the lake. This lake has like a cul de sac end to it. Everyone knows about this area and everyone comes here to skinny dip.
