For all the drivers out there, what are your favorite driving songs? My favorite is Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue. last weekend, I was with some friends on a back highway in the middle of absolute nowhere where the speed limit was 55 mph. after about 2 minutes of this Motley Crue hit, I looked down at my speedometer and saw 85.

So yeah, what are your favorite driving songs? :D

I don't drive yet (Yeah, I know. I'm an old fart for not being able to drive. I've driven once in my life.) but I'll constantly be listening to songs and going "I want to blast this as I'm driving down the road".

Most recent would probably be Shut Me Up by Mindless Self Indulgence :P

Actually, depends more on the time of day.

I play most anything of my collection because I need variation, but I absolutely love making night driving playlists and I think it takes driving music to the next level for me. I'm like some weird creature that is energized by moonlight and need my soundtracks.

Since I don't have a license yet or have a learners permit, I'm usually driven by my mom. I am gonna have to go with the times the local radio is on, especially around Christmas because it brings so much joy. Other than that, the music is usually my moms really horrible taste in music.

Anything from one of the Burnout games' soundtracks. Don't drive much, but when I do it makes me really excited when I listen to that.

Well that's a given American Road Rule, that speed limit is suggestive you're supposed to take the speed and add an extra 15-30 MPH. ;)

If we are on a longcar trip we just have a selection of music some kinda quiet classical stuff and then some rock. Maybe a sing a long.

I can't drive yet, but this is something I think about a lot! I haven't thought of much, but pretty much anything by Bruce Springsteen or Johnny cash works. Also, I heard it through the grapevine by Marvin Gaye.

The Stones are even better :P

Gimme Shelter is the ultimate driving song. So is Beast Of Burden, Some Girls, Shattered, or anything by the stones now that I'm thinking of it lol

God, ya'll are gonna hate me. If I have some friends in the car, and we're driving somewhere... anything One Direction. I know it's manufactured crap, but it's just fun to scream those lyrics with your friends driving down a backroad.

Otherwise, country. Indiana summer in the car by yourself? Gotta crank up the country.

Okay, I have a confession to make. Whenever Trouble by Taylor Swift come on, me and my friends scream and match I even match the pitch. I'm a low level bass so it's pretty incredible... lol :whoops:

Well, DUH! "On the road again!" Blaring out of my old Philco 6 volter' on the Model A makes me want to head for Florida! The theme song from "The Great Race" works, too.

Casey Jones??? Not that I get that quote... but you realize that is NOT funny??? You know, he died for everyone on that train in 1898? I don't get what things are coming to anymore...

I just love driving fast to LA Woman by The Doors, that came on and I didn't realize I was doing almost 100mph. But pretty much anything AC/DC, Def Leppard, Rush, Stones, and Doobies I love to drive fast to.

In the car on both Monday and Friday we just had Dido, Keane and fucking One Direction CDs with us and using the CD player. Mum made us listen to One Direction for most of the way to where we were going, and I had to put up with it because I didn't have enough space in the car to get my bag up and take my headphones out :whoops:
